yeah but I bet you the score was the CPU was winning 6-0 for those real deep innings. I am yet to see a pitcher go further then the 5th innings if you are up by 3+ runs... if it is a 2-2 game they will be pulled in the 6th if the pitch count is at least 70.



I have only ever seen Chris Sale go 8 innings against me and that was a 2-1 game, in which they won. he probably should have gone 9 for the complete game shutout, but as soon as a base runner got on base the CPU panic in the 9th and hooked him. had the CPU been up 8-1 he never would have got pulled. so it's really about what the score is at the time, not about stamina fatigue or pitch count, which makes all those things useless,



Might as well keep the hook at 5 for relief pitcher purposes, because it is no different to being 0. if it meant something the CPU should hardly ever even pull the starter.

That fits today's MLB. Only The elite pitchers like Sale are generally going to go deep in a game like that.

I just don't see the problem.

i just installed the patch and when i went to start the game it said data corrupted and i need to delete the game file and reinstall. ....real nice.

That fits today's MLB. Only The elite pitchers like Sale are generally going to go deep in a game like that.

True., but I just feel the 6th innings should be more of the magic innings that the BP should get warmed up, not the 5th innings.

I also feel their might be something in the algarithm to do with the lefty on lefty match ups, and the LR guys in the BP you will find when the 5th innings starts the CPU warms up those LR guys like your Adam Warrens Shayne Greenes the guys that can give you Spot starts, I think the A1 looks at the energy bar of those players and if full they will warm them up in the 5th

I am up to 104 games played in my season and i can tell you for sure that there are too many Homeruns in this game.



If the Scea Roster makers would re-evaluate the power ratings for all the overrated homerun hitters in the game. It would make this game so much more realistic.



Toning down the homerun slider and the power ratings individually would do so much.

Turn the wind slider down. If you think you are getting too many meatballs increase pitch accuracy and pitch consistency by a notch or two.

Wind slider is the biggest culprit imo.

Does anyone know if they've fixed a minor issue (not sure if it was just me) that made every single player from Alaska? Got pretty tired of MV saying "and out of the 48th state of Alaska.." not a massive issue, and apologies if someone has already addressed it in this thread..

Did they fix the Chipper Jones mission? I've complete the 4 hits 4 rbis 1 hr twice now without it counting.
Did they fix the players eyes?
Did they fix the DD record? I've been 2-0 since launch day even though I've played over 100 games.

I had a starter yanked in the 5th inning and his pitch count was 86. But, I checked again and he was out of energy. From my experience so far it looks good.

Pitcher's are still getting hooked at the 'too fast' rate, which is faster than in previous years.

Short sample size but in 2 games since the patch - manage mode - I've seen 3 runners advance on a pitch in the dirt, 3 runners stay at the base and not advance on a pitch in the dirt and one runner try to advance to 3rd and thrown out.

It does seem it has toned down but not eliminated, more realistic than before. I see no other changes in gameplay and since offense was too low previously I'll bump contact up a couple notches and begin the elusive search for a slider set.

The latest online freeze I experienced is the pitch going through the middle of the catcher and the game locks up. Both me and opponent could not move are players or access any menus. Basically a wait to see who quits first. They need to overhaul online coding. This is ridicolous.

Sorry to say, but the online guys only have 3 options. 1. shelve/sell the game, 2. Wait until August when the servers calm down due to Madden's release 3. move on to other games. There has been 5 patches and around 7 server updates since release. However, the servers issues are getting worse with each server maintenance. At this point, they have not found a solution for the online problems and they won't this release unfortunately.

Bunting is still broken. I have played two games and the rocket bunts are still there. 3-6-4 double plays all day long

Exactly. I guess a bigger concern would be why do we still have to deal with "trade offs" with the power of the PS4 Pro? If this can't be fixed then I'm probably going to trade in the game. It might not be a big deal for some but it's very distracting to me.

Short answer -- because not everyone has a Pro.

For those playing full games seeing early pitcher hook check A&S sliders. I am using his sliders and SPs are subbing out like IRL. I have also had 4th or 5th starters pitch 8 shutout innings with low pitch counts only to be pulled in 9th for closer. I haven't tested patch, but they were working great before this patch.
