Definately it's better then before for wild pitches.I'd suggest Nomo's or mine for Manage only full games.I been getting good results and i know lots of people have been using his and getting good results.You gotta give it a decent amount of games and i believe you will like the results with either set.

For those that use Player Lock mode does anyone know if patch 1.04 or 1.05 brought back the slow mo effect when leading off of 1st base and when playing defense or sliding into bases?
Would love too see the additional improved hit types but don't want to risk it. Still on version 1.03.Proud member of the 0.04%Comment

Absolutely loving the hitting in the last 2 patches. I was just a single short of hitting for the cycle in my RTTS. Some of these extra base hits would never have been possible in year's past. The new physics are really starting to shine now that the HRs are toned down.Comment

What mode are you playing when it freezes and is there anything in particular you're doing when it freezes?
I've had zero freezes so far after many games so just curious if there's a certain thing causing it for you.Joshua:

I just wish they would fix the diving mechanic during fielding. I have not been in a situation where it was beneficial to dive, because they cover more ground simply running in a backwards angle. They dive too slow and there should be more ball logic when diving. In previous versions once you got the timing down it played very well, but here I cannot recall a situation in which I needed to dive for a ball.Comment

What about the cpu check swings/appeals? Fact that it is always determined they did not swing the bat. Have they determined whether or not this is an issue? Not a big deal at all, just curious.Comment

Curious as to what is your style of play? Do you play using Player Lock or full team control. Full team control defense definitely plays different than Player Lock defense. Especiallly with the diving mechanic.
I have to turn the setting for one button dives to on which gives wierd results as R2 for dive no longer works.Proud member of the 0.04%Comment

I refuse to do any fielding when i play rtts, except SS. Why they cant understand that letting us lock onto our player using the standard/normal defense views used during regular play would be the greatest thing ever i do not know. We dont need this awkward 1st person view, especially when it switches camera halfway to the ball forcing us to push A different direction on the control pad even though we are still running the same direction. I have played the show since it's inception and they have made no improvement to this and I can't imagine the feedback would be positive unless no one plays outfield.
Fielding is my favorite part of the game so much that I have a franchise in which I fantasy drafted based on defense and all I do is throw fastballs down the middle of the plate and try to field. Also, I have the one button option selected as well.
I know that diving over the ball has been this way, and it just was a matter of timing to dive for a ball. It is the same way now with timing, however I have yet to come across a situation where simply taking a steeper angle to get the ball was not more beneficial than diving. Perhaps i need to take down fielder speed or reaction in sliders, but I remember not having good results when i did that before.
Also, I would be interested to know from all use that guys out there how many pop-ups to the catcher on average happen during a game and whether or not it is all that my batters pop out to the catcher now at least six times a game. And if this is normal, which I'm being sarcastic and I know that it is not, how come the computer doesn't pop out to the catcher as much. And this so far has been on legend and Hall of Fame and with directional or zone. Problem is so bad that this is how I learned of the last patch. I was popping out and hitting dribblers so much that I went and checked online to see if something had changed and sure know if there had been a patch.Comment

After reading my last comment I realized how negative and whiny it sounded and if any developers read that I apologize. I definitely don't want to be THAT guy.
