When a new pitcher comes into the game, have a graphic overlay displaying the type of pitches he throws. So players are not holding onto R2 to find out what pitches they have that delays the game, or messes up the pitcher sequence.

While there are other things that I would "prioritize" over this, I'm hoping sometime soon they expand the rosters. I don't need a fully playable Class-A, but would like to have a full 25-man roster for Class A.

And while I would want to have all the levels, I'd be happy with:

        MLB - 25 Players
        AAA - 25 Players
        AA - 25 Players
        A - 25 Players
        Rookie - 10 Players

90 man rosters are too small in my opinion. 110 would be a good number to work with in terms of building up a roster with top prospects while also having roster fillers.

And if they wanted to add the Arizona Fall League to help develop young talent, I wouldn't be opposed.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Since it looks like MLB 18 has a theme based on the future of the sport, I am once again hoping that franchise/season mode will get either an expansion or relocation feature.

A relocation feature would probably be easier to implement. I would be happy with the Diamond Dynasty uniform and logo creator, as well as a handful of generic stadiums to choose from (Open Stadium, Retractable Roof Stadium, Domed Stadium, etc.)

I have been waiting for something like this in the series for years. Even if an expansion or relocation feature is unlikely, I will still hold out hope. I love the idea of building up an entirely new franchise.
          Go Phillies!

I 100% agree with this. If you look at a/any team, they have well over 90 players. 90 isnt even half of what a team holds player wise.

I have posted other things in this thread already so I wont list them again. One thing I hope they improve are some of the preset faces since a lot of them don't even look realistic.

there are tons of things like this that I want also, that while they won't likely be high on SDS' priority list, these ''small'' things could really ramp up franchise to a whole new level. I'd feel bad for OSFM makers, but I hope by 2020 they bump it up to at least 125 players, even if only AAA and AA are the only playable minor league levels.

I loved MLB 11. That was the last version of the game that had that old school deliberate pace that you see in real baseball games. Full walk ups, batter fidgets after every pitch.

Just really like what you see. Then people complained it takes too long to play and the march towards a more streamlined presentation package begun on 12.

I thought 17 gave us some back where as 15 and 16 took a lot away.

Even 14 had the full foul ball camera still working. It was sadly taken away.

The toggle to turn off the HR cam was taken away.

All design decisions I still to this day disagree with wholeheartedly. A big part of their core offline base wants all these things.

Yeah I'm not a fan of them removing these presentation elements when people still had the ability to "X" through them if they didn't want to sit through them.

The HR camera is still baffling to me. I can't for the life of me think why anyone would want to have that turned on if given the option.

They mean the camera that sits fixed behind home plate at an angle so that it shows the player's celebration. And showing that celebration in real time is exactly why some people would leave it that way given a choice, because not everyone who plays this game needs to have it look exactly like a TV broadcast.

I'd like the option too. Just playing devils advocate here for a point of view that probably doesn't exist on this board.

Ok so there are two types of no doubt cameras. There is the beautiful and dramatic pull back showing you the entire park as the ball is bombed and heading out.

Then there is the closeup from the batters perspective in the box. This is the one that was controlled by the HR camera which we used to be able to toggle off and just see the pull back full view 100% of the time.

Now in all fairness SDS heard our cries and patched it to 75% - 25% pull back vs HR cam.

And it has been that way ever since. I get a lot more of the classic pull back no doubt HR’s vs the actual “HR Camera” view.

I just wish we can toggle it off like we used too. Not that the HR cam is all that bad. It’s not.

My one and only wish for 18 is the ability to rebrand a team like you can in NBA 2K. I don't need the ability to expand or even to relocate, just let me rename a team, change their logo, colors, uniforms, and build them a new stadium.

World Baseball Classic teams, including not qualifying team at the round robin with officials players, jersey and stadium or, in alternative, the chance to create them with jersey and players.

They really need to incorporate Pitch and Swing analysis replay with commentary. After a Payoff Pitch show Pitch Grip, Ball Trail and zone coverage. For batting on a strike out or hit, talk about his grip, torque through the hips timing ect...
