    2. We need to be able to assign a HR swing to any stance from the same side of the plate. They should not be tied to one stance as they only need to have the same follow through (2 hand or 1 hand) to trigger the animation.

    3. Team color 4 needs to be added and be associated with the color of the pants the team is wearing so that we can easily make white/gray home/away gear.

    4. Outfielders need to wear a 12.5 to 13.5 inch version of their glove, not the 11.5 inch they wear now. This is the 3rd year in a row its been wrong.
While I agree that the unique player movements could be better, motion capturing is a little more difficult to do than just throwing more people at it.

"Starting from scratch" just isn't an option either.

With respect to OP's first point. If they make pitchers get injured by line drives more often, then we would have too many injuries.

If the pitchers were to get injured more when a line drive smacks them, then the hitters also need to be injured more. In fact isn't that one of the more common injuries in baseball? Hit by pitch injuries (and/or foul balls to the foot), especially when the batters are hit in the hands? Of course I have seen plenty of batters taking a pitch in their backs or to their legs. Not sure if I have ever seen a MLB The Show batter take one on the hands. Perhaps the animation just does not exist.

I think they could make the pitcher dodge away more often. That would help with making it occur less often. But when ever they do get hit they should be injured or it should also affect their performance.

Batters should get injured too. But maybe they can also have them dodge away more often and penalize pitchers for hitting more than one batter. They should get a warning from the umpire.

You raise a good point about fouling balls onto yourself, they really need to add that as it's incredibly common in real life. Barely a game goes by without it happening once or twice, yet on the show all foul balls tend to go straight up in the air or way off to the side. They don't even have it where the ball is fouled into the catcher, which is pretty common as well (they have foul tips, but no slight deviations that cause the catcher to get hit)

They need to make pitchers get injured more often when getting hit by a ball or they should make them not be able to react immediately after being hit with the ball.

Easy one... Conquest stronghold games should be played in OG stadium, not the stadium of the current holder. Current holder should of course be "Home" tho.

That's fine, but injury prone and energy/stamina are different things. And should be separated.

                    Is that hard to understand?

It is time for San Diego Studios to get on par with NBA 2K and Madden and get some type of update system built into their engine so they don't need a patch update for everything.

MLB The Show biggest feature should be tunning updates

                      1. AI updates to reflect real world tendencies
                      2. Hitting adjustments, i.e. changing the size of the PCI changing hit windows ect...
                      3. Pitch Count logic

It's time for Tunning San Diego Studios.

I 100% agree, as durability and energy/stamina are also different things. And should be separated.

Careful what you wish for. There's a lot of hand-wringing and paranoia over every time NBA2k gets any kind of update (even if it's explicity stated that it doesn't change gameplay). I really don't want to play the game not knowing that something might have changed without me actually changing the settings.

I rather have it than not. Waiting for patches to go through certification is an unnecessary step for some of the things that could just be tweaked here and there and Mike Wang is the only one who goes back and forth with the tunning for the most part.

You will know because Madden and 2k let you know that there is a new tunning update.

They still use patches, but for some things they tweak or change some behaviors 2K has Adaptive Coaching Engine which they update throughout the season they scout teams and players change their AI behavior and add new Offensive plays and defensive schemes, they also can change shot meter and some dribble tendencies. Madden essentially does the same thing, but they don't add plays.
