Being able to transfer player now in the game into franchise mode, I have had a jays franchise mode running from mlb 14 and I would love to be able to transfer guys like sanchez osuna and stroman into the franchise so I no longer have to use there created types, this could be difficult though as I would want there attributes to stay as they are already in my franchise

Tagging needs an improvement badly. When you throw to a base and have a 3 to 5 second wait for the runner to slide in should result in a easy out especially if you have a quality fielder in his correct position.Its disgraceful to see runners safe on those plays as well as the run downs where the runner just sidesteps your slowed down animation tag when your fielder is head on with the on coming runner.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but improved manager IQ in RTTS. I hate when I have a hit streak then I get sat for a game only to be used as a pinch hitter in a meaningless situation. Like I had a 26 game hit streak and I was sent in the game as a PH with 2 outs in the 8th inning of a blowout game (I'm rarely if ever sent in as a PH in a meaningful situation) ending my streak. A manager would never pull this in real life.

I have some more stuff I would like to see but it doesn't have to all be for next year, but I think they should start to incorporate these in the next few years. I think from reading some of the past posts I might have copied some of you but then we all get it and want what is best for the future games

1- During the Trade Deadline they should have a scenario like NHL used to do where you sim to the deadline then go hour by hour from like 10-3 pm EST or whenever the cutoff is and you receive different offers from teams on players in your farm/trade block
2- Add more to the player morale. You should be able to have team meetings/player meetings. I would like to see something along the lines where you can kind of give the player you just traded some insight as to why you traded them and wish them luck
3- Equipment, have different cleats, batting gloves, arm sleeves, bat grips, etc… for home/away uniforms and change the color of your equipment
4- RTTS, if you don’t want to sign as a high schooler and go to college you should be able to play some games to get more training points and to add more exposure and increase your draft stock before the showcase and showcase games
5- RTTS Part 2-instead of having a player get a salary that is kinda useless, do what 2K does and your salary should be stubs
6- Incorporate a more easier “salary cap” for teams as I have been lost as to how much money I can spend on players this season as opposed to previous years
7- Have interviews after a blockbuster trade/signing, also incorporate a social media option to see what insiders have to say about your team and trades you make and other teams make
8- I know this is tough but they should add TJ and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, but they should only happen if a player goes on the DL 2-3 times because of forearm stiffness/elbow tightness
9- Add Tom Verducci as a bench reporter to update the broadcasters on a potential injury/milestones and maybe some other insights
10- Have a high school and college showcase game for franchise mode to see the top prospects from each level
11- I think Rehab Assignments would be cool
12- More realistic trading system. It would be kind of cool to get responses from other teams on who they want to trade and receive in trades via text

We need to be able to 2 or more for 1 trades when using CPU roster control. The ability to just assign a player to another team would be great as well.

I also love retro mode but not having a season mode makes it pointless to me. We need stat tracking and multiple seasons.

Thanks for the spoilers! I was playing the last game of the season with a one game lead over the Cardinals, and Harold Reynolds mentioned something about how I had won the division, despite all games taking place at the same time on the final day of the season. So he shouldn't have known that yet. I hate how they also post the division standings that give away the result of a game that's on later. For example, say that I trail by 2 games going in, it'll show that I trail now by 2.5 games, implying that the team I trail to will win later on.

Yeah, they need to cut that out! It really ruins it for me. You play the whole season, then they ruin the good part for you.

Yea, the standings and anything about the postseason race should be like all other stats and be when entering play unless they can get a system that will update real time with the ticker so that you can have in game updates for other games.

My Wishlist for MLB 18 The Show:

-I would like to see deeper farm systems, add at least Single A games and a few more roster spots
-International Signing period.
-Winter Meetings actually mean something
-Better player progression/regression: Ichiro in MLB 16 would retire after the season and after the season in MLB 17 he retires. It seems that the players don't play past 35 or 36 years old when its simulation and also
-The ability to use the player search for: Stats, MLB Service Time, etc.
-Having 5 Trade slots and the ability to send money to other teams and only pay the remainder of a salary for the year (not sure if it already does that)

Yes! Would be great if I was playing the 1989 season and could eliminate the Rays, Diamondbacks, Rockies, and Marlins while putting Houston back in the National League.

A "make or break" type timetable for prospects where their attributes go up faster due to their performance.
I've noticed IRL that some prospects getting close to the majors get better faster, especially when they reach the majors.

I'm sure many of what I will say has been said already.

Gameplay:

1. More animations. I know it is tough to do but I hate how every player throws the same, swings the same, etc. I want to see Hunter Pence's awkward throwing and hitting actually happen. Stuff like that would be great.
2. Throws seem to always be right on the money for the CPU from the outfield no matter who is out there.

Franchise:

1. Issue with drafting, it's not the players or the scouting though sure that could improved but I like what you all are doing. The issue is the overalls of players. Some players are rated too high which causes teams to put them in AAA or MLB already. I greatly dislike that.
2. Contracts. I think contracts need to be adjusted as well, now, allowing an opt out after certain years. They should be more editable before starting a franchise as well.
3. Salaries should be more realistic. I hate current salaries but it's the way things go. I'd like to see more realistic salary offers aside from the pitchers.

Misc.

1. Records and acknowledgement. Baseball is all about stats, numbers, records. I would really love to see more of these implemented to bring the game closer to reality. Only four records to break? Why is that? There should be so many more stats and rankings. I think it would really be a great feature to add to the game.
