I really wish 18 will have a separate slider for CPU and User steal difficulty. With the changes to stealing in last years game I had to crank up the slider all the way to the top to get any stolen bases. Since this slider is shared with the CPU they pretty much had free reign on the basepaths. Kind of ruined the game for me last year.

in rtts:

1)a log of world series winners and series outcome, for example

2018: New York Mets 4, Los Angeles Angels 2
2017: Houston Astros 4, Los Angeles Dodgers 3
2016: Chicago Cubs 4, Cleveland Indians 3

2)when you go through a player's card maybe you can see their list of accomplishments too

3)a log of various mlb records such as hits, rbis, home runs, etc. for example

Hits:
1 Pete Rose 4,256
2 Ty Cobb 4,191
3 Hank Aaron 3,771

4) since nike is in the game, maybe the possibility of bringing jordan brand cleats and accessories to the game as well

in addition to this is a transaction log of trades, free agent signings, promotions/demotions, etc.

in jersey # selection, if a number is retired or in use by another player, that number shouldn't be available to pick from

Something I just noticed that ds to be fixed, if you fast forward and there is a pitching change during one of the innings you fast forwarded the current pitcher's pitch count will reflect the pitch count of the previous pitcher

I really hope we actually get a real broadcast style Post game/Daily Recap show after every game in any mode in MLB The Show 18!

I have made a post that got closed and tweeted them with no response of course but here goes:

Fix the gloves for the outfielders. This is the 4th year in a row you have OF'ers wearing 11.5 inch gloves. You had correct glove sizes until you started using real equipment. You have to make an OF and IF version for each glove. 4 years with no changes is ridiculous.

I'm a franchise mode guy and I love fantasy drafts, and simulation mode/quick manage, so most of my wants are around that.

Ability to have fewer teams in franchise mode. This way you can run a franchise with historical seasons

More Accurate results in sim and quick manage modes. I've noticed my team is just crushing the SB leader boards, so I think league wide there's not enough steals happening. In addition I've read some people complaining that quick manage gives too little offense. I've noticed my teams hitting stats overall are low, I do 95% of my games in quick manage so maybe there's something to this? Nelson Cruz is my worst example, 75% through the season and he's hitting around .225, and 5th on the team in hr. That's just one example but I'm wondering if he's got the quick manage curse.

Need to be able swap positions in quick manage. If you go to substitution and pick a player in the active lineup, you then must choose a player on the bench to replace him. This should be very simple, if you choose another player in the lineup it should swap positions.

A more fun hitting practice mode might be cool. I found this one quite boring compared to MVP 05 which was the last baseball game I played.

And have an option to choose longer or shorter bats for hitters. The MLB rule is 42 inches max for length and a 2 & 3/4 inch barrel. It used to be fun watching Alfonso Soriano swing with the 35/36 inch model. Babe Ruth is said to have used a 36 inch, 40+ ounce bat.

Don’t know if it’s already been posted but please allow us to select the camera view for batting/pitching during cpu vs cpu games instead of automatically revert back to home team broadcast camera.

I want franchise to feel more alive. I want to be able to interact with more people and have more people interact with me.

Three main things:

I would love to see much more fleshed out Owners/Managers in the future. I would love having to meet with the owner a few times a year like in OOTP Baseball. Maybe have a conversation system where you can effect job security and expectations based on what dialogue options you choose. Give managers traits (Also in OOTP) and let me talk to them about what signings/trades/hirings to make.

Fictional news articles written around the league. Baseball has so many random storylines going on week to week. I believe SSD is definitely creative enough to come up with a bunch of randomly generated storylines every week. If I disagree with something my manager/owner says, make that a storyline. Have the announcers talk about it during the games, effect player rating/morale slightly.

More fleshed out scouts/the draft. Have it so each scout has their own draft board. Let me create a draft board and see mock drafts every week. Make scouting a yearly thing instead of a 4 month thing.

One little thing for franchise i would like to see return/change is how the hot and cold players are shown, there used to be a way to see all the hot and cold players that could be sorted by team, league ect. . That was removed and the hot and cold players list was moved to the league updates tab where it now only shows the top 9 rated pitchers/hitters.

i am fine with it in league updates but i wish it would show who are the hottest and coldest players atm and not just the highest rated players.
