I'll be honest the slow motion pitching looks and feels bad. I really don't know what's going on this year, but this version is by far the worst for online. The constant freezing. SDS needs to hire some good online engineers to fix this game online.

Since the patch, has anybody's games in offline franchise started up and go straight to the batter walk up? My last 4 franchise games I've played today have skipped the opening presentation showing team records, lineups, and defensive positioning and gone straight to the away batter in the batters box. Weird.

This has happened to me from time to time. Rebooting the PS4 seems to fix it.

Hopefully they dont touch hitting for the rest of this year. Hitting is improved over the last patch.

Played 3 games post patch and don't notice a difference. I know someone else mentioned there being an uptick in power but I don't see it. I've given up 6 doubles, 1 triple and 2 HR's in the 3 games post patch with the CPU hitting 25/99 (.253). I haven't torn the cover off the ball either, 6 doubles, 4 HR's in that same period.

Are you using custom sliders or playing franchise mode. It may not be as noticeable with franchise slumps or configured sliders.

Its definitely improved over the last patch for ranked diamond dyansty and vs cpu games. In fact i was caught off guard seeing the hard hit normal swings going yard with more velocity, because i became use to the nerfed hitting on the previous patch.

The previous nerfed patch, grinding out cpu games for programs were a chore. But now the grind for misson programs is back to where accumulating offensive output stats is at a faster rate.

Gotta play more games but I believe they have fixed the statistical error of incorrect pitch counts. No more pitchers ending up with 140 pitches thrown?

My offense has definitely been down since 1.09

Haven't hit a homerun in about 10 games. Time to bump up the sliders.

Are you still at 6 for power and solid hits? If so, are you looking to move up even more?

I've reached the point where I play a game or two after the patch to see what changes if any have been made to game play. First game was 2-1 in 11 innings with a total of 7 hits for both teams. Small sample size but given the lack of offense in manage mode previously it appears offense as no better and possible worse than before.

Oh well.

I have not been seeing that. The ball appears to have a more natural flight path again as opposed to the whiffle ball path it had before (would fly strong and then just die and fall out of the sky like a whiffle ball being hit).

Had a 16-14 game in MOM the other day.My team in MOM led the league in HR's. I had 3 guys hit over 30 HR's in a season. There is nothing wrong with the offense in MOM. I am getting realistic results with a few slider tweeks. You might just have a bad copy of the show. Maybe take it back to Game Stop and tell them your issues
