Hmm...odd. Might be best to give your local GS a call today and see if they can clarify. I debating on trading or just buying the pro and selling my OG PS4 myself. Mainly bc I would like to have both so I can do all the data transfer w/o screwing up and losing anything lol

If you keep the OG, make sure not to delete your profile (as I did D'OH) before transferring. The transferring is/was really easy and self explanatory on screen. You will need a LAN cable to connect both PS4's to do it. I accidently deleted my profile not thinking because I was putting the old PS in the boys room, but did not want them having access to my profile (cc info) so I prematurely deleted it. I was however shocked that MLBTS kept my in game info, IE stubs and etc, but I did lose all my rosters, rtts guys, franchises and such. Just fyi tip

I assume they were using the Pro version in the most recent Twitch stream, which leads me to my question(s).

I assume the presentation cutscenes (batter walk ups, etc.) are also 60FPS on the Pro as well, since they looked to be, silky smooth.

Is the base PS4 still 30FPS for the cutscenes, or did those get upped as well (did not play '17, took a year off from gaming)?

I just got the PS4 Pro. For those that have it is there a specific setting that I need to change to get the best frame rate and overall optimization?

I do not have a 4K TV, but I’d like to make sure I maximizing the experience without the 4K functionality.

Kidd- I asked the gamestop employee if this deal expires tomorrow. He told me to his knowledge the trade-in value should be $200 for the foreseeable future. (Playstation 4 OG 500GB)

In the audio/visual screen, change it to "high frame rate". I don't have a 4K tv either and that is what I set mine to, and it looks and plays flawless

I changed the HDMI cable that came with the game. When I went into resolution it only showed 1080 and AUTOMATIC...... So went to Costco and they had Wirelogic HDMI cables (2 set) for 14.99. When I switch them out I now see 2160 resolution and WOW what a tremendous difference (note, I have a Samsung UHD tv).

I would love to see 4K/60 FPS...Fifa does it in gameplay and it looks incredible. 4K last year was unplayable, frame rate was real bad on the pro...enhanced was ok at best...Hope to hear something on this front soon

Absolutely. When I first cranked up the PRO I was like...”huh, don’t see a real difference”. With it now at 2160....what a leap.

Traded my og PS4 in for the pro this afternoon and preordered the digital version of 18.

Game plays so smooth even on my non 4K tv. Now I’m really ready for ‘18 to drop!
