I can also confirm this... Just yesterday I traded in my OG PS4 500GB at GameStop. It initially came up as $170, so I questioned it. The other employee there overheard the convo and mentioned that the additional $30 is discounted after a PS4 Pro is added to the transaction.

So the typical OG PS4 trade in is currently $120. Extra $50 is added on with one of the current deals... And then another $30 is added on when a Pro is added to the trade transaction.

FWIW, I went with the Star Wars Battlefront 2 PS4 Pro console (which includes the Battlefront 2 game)... It normally cost $450, they have a current sale with that one for $400... Which is awesome for me because I already had Battlefront 2... So I traded in the copy of Battlefront 2 that I already had to Best Buy for a $33 gift card (with 10% Gamer's Club trade in credit).

Then, I'll use that $33 gift card towards MLB 18... Of course along with the Gamer's Club 20% discount!!!

I love saving money and shopping smart! No better feeling![emoji1]

Interesting because it says offers cant be combined... And what it sounds like here, they gave u 2 offers.

I may be SOL because the email that says Ill get $200 ends on 2/11, I wont be able to get to GS until Tuesday.

Im sad now.

I ended up getting the Star Wars one also. Not a big fan of playing online, but thought my son would enjoy the game, and I love the looks of the SW Pro. Played my first full game last night, OMG!!! So WORTH IT!!! WORTH IT!!!!! WORTH IT!!!! I don't even have a 4K tv (yet) and it is absolutely mind blowing!

I got the Pro for last year’s game even though I only have ~5 year old 1080p tv. My thought process was “I don’t want to be playing a lesser version of the only game I play year round. And I’ll eventually upgrade my TV so instead of buying both at once, get the pro now and then when it’s a good time it won’t be as big a purchase to get both tv and pro at once”

I checked my email trash (I usually delete most from GameStop) and found the email about the trade in. For what it’s worth, it does say the trade in offer ends 2/11.

MLB the Show is basically the only game I play on PS4. I do not have a 4K tv, but I’ve got a high-end plasma from 2013 that I love.

I am hoping the enhanced frame rate is worth the investment. Lol

Hmm...odd. Might be best to give your local GS a call today and see if they can clarify. I debating on trading or just buying the pro and selling my OG PS4 myself. Mainly bc I would like to have both so I can do all the data transfer w/o screwing up and losing anything lol

Just called my GS... They have a new offer starting on 2/12, guaranteed $200 trade... I forget the systems he listed, I think he said PS4, PS4 Slim, Xbox One.
