Personally, I think it's great that it feels like some of these promotional videos are also their response to saying: "See, we got them in!" Kind of nice that there is a nice little inside reference to OS, if so.

Seriously, I do think this thread made it happen, even if they wouldn't admit it themselves. Don't know if it got them to touch something else like number placement though (which may be much harder), but as this became the focal point at the end of the day, I feel so honored to be "heard" regardless!

It definitely feels like they threw that jersey in there as a response to us. I mean, I don't think the Blue Jays ever even wear those reds in away games, yet here it is. It is absolutely an awesome feeling to know that we are being heard, and that the little things we care and complain about are actually cared about on their end as well, even if they don't come outright and say we had any input. Thank you SDS for taking the time to fix these color issues so late in the cycle. It really means a lot to us and I hope your effort doesn't go unnoticed, and not just with us uniform complainers, but with the general masses, just how much better the uniforms look in this year's game compared to years past, and I am very excited to see what improvements there are to behold in future iterations.

It is nice, but I don’t understand why we are met with such resistance and have to struggle with this seemingly every year. It’s like we were heard, again, but demeaned and put down every step of the way during the process. And now they would never admit that they were wrong, but they quietly go and change it and it is night and day.

Like, this would be all so much easier if there was just a simple back and forth like there use to be. If you’re taking the time to post the issue and provide clear examples and they take the time to read it, why wouldn’t there be more productive dialog. Not reassurance that we are wrong, belittlement, and underlying animosity. Everyone just wants it to be correct.

Is that throwback jersey in the game? If so, what does it look like? Does it look like its proper color (and thus match the improper color of their current jersey in-game), or does it look darker than its real-life counterpart (just as the current jersey looks darker than its real-life counterpart)?

Just checked in Show 17 and while the Phillies red is darker than it should be the throwback jerseys are definitely at least darker than the current jersey's red.

More huge development here. Fingers crossed that the Phillies got fixed but we definitely got heard this year. Great job guys.

Yeah I'm beyond happy with this. I can't believe how many people said this wasn't something worth speaking up about. Whoever was ok with the top "early build" red was just choosing to not care about it. You don't have to be a uniform buff to see there was a serious problem here...

Im not picky about jersey colours BUT..., I played franchise with the Jays last year and I just couldn't use those red alternate jerseys.

They showed the Giants orange. Looked better, but not enough like real life orange.

WOW what a night and day difference so much better.

But I think the Phillies and Cardinals reds were not fixed and Giants orange also still not perfect right?

Anyway hopefully all remaining team colors will be fixed for MLB The Show 19. And update the dusk sky to blue and we will really be cooking
