I believe that one also correctly has a blue squatchee instead of orange in the game.

Haven't played non-RTTS for a while. Do the Mets have any of their black or pinstripe-free unis in the game?

No it's the 60's uniforms, 85 uniforms, and the current blue alternates. I know they don't wear them anymore, but I'd use the all white uniforms. I liked the blue hats with the orange brim they wore a few years ago too that I don't think is in the game

With all due deference to Sony SD (it's my favorite all-time series and I love the game and I love the current uniform selection).

But the strict MLB Style Guide adherence doesn't wash ... especially to throwbacks. How does Mitchell & Ness get them right? I think it's a smooth way to dismiss uni questions.

I'm sure Sony has some analytics on what uniforms are being used. Can't they cycle in new ones for infrequently used ones?

If slots are limited, can't they give use DLC and let us fill the available slots with the unis we want?

I’m on board with those who want to ditch classic uniforms in favor of current uniforms. And have been for years. It’s MLB 18 The Show, not MLB 1964 The Show. 2018 should be fully represented before they even consider any classic stuff.

Current uniforms are fully represented they just need improvement in many areas. There's no need to remove throwbacks to fix the problems with the current uniforms. Don't remove them, many of us enjoy them.

Agree with the OP, the uniforms do seem to lack that animation and physics that we have been wanting for a while. They seem to just be dead objects in the game.

He was stating his opinion and wasn't rude or mean. Not every post needs an elaborate explanation. I was fine with his post and thought the "ok..." response was snarky and unnecessary.

I assume the biggest sticking point with unis is MLB themselves. Otherwise I wish there was a uniform vault that users could choose from for any team.

What drives me crazy about the uniforms is they have the throwback uniforms for the Rays for 1998 and 1999 even though the difference between the two uniforms are very little. Yet they could easily put in just one of those and put in the ones they wore for most of their time as the Devil Rays. These were some of my favorite baseball uniforms ever.

I still cannot understand why the front numeral (size) for the Dodgers is still not accurate.

At least it's the right color. I don't know how many remember that for years on older games they had that number as blue. I know for sure on the EA series it was blue and it was annoying.

Yep, love the throwbacks. I do wish they would fix the 1983 Braves throwbacks though. On the game they don't have the names on the back but they're supposed to. It ruins the experience a little bit because they're such cool uniforms.

Also the 1998 Devil Rays uniforms were never actually worn. That cap design was dropped before they even started the season.
