You know, looking back at the original post of this thread, we're pretty much at the point where jersey physics and style templates (probably the 2 most difficult things on the list) are the only things left to improve.

Colors have been fixed, the limited number of slots has been reworked for the better (if not fixed completely), number placement and logos have been adjusted (for the most part), and Style Guide issues seem to have all but vanished. And all over the course of only 2 iterations of The Show.

Now I'm definitely not one to say we should pat ourselves on the back or anything, but I am inclined to believe this thread and all our detailed feedback has actually had an effect, be it big or small, on this game for the better and it's just a nice feeling to know that we are actually being heard and that the developers seem to care about this stuff as much as we do.

Has anyone seen the Nats home jersey to see if #s were raised for them as well? Off the top of my head I cant think of any other team that has home jerseys with #s like the Nats do.

Had to sift through the gameplay stream to get this pic of the Nats home jerseys. Looks like it was moved up a bit compared to 18.

Awesome!! Looking at that pic of Bryce from a couple posts back to looking at pic of Trea, that looks really damn good!

I PMd a couple developers on here about fielding gloves using team colors, I haven’t heard anything back but here’s hoping that is addressed!

Reason I PMd is because that Twitter pic of Bartolo in a Rangers uni has him with a Red glove and the glove is super dark.

Yep looks like all the jerseys front numbers and logos are getting fixed in 19!

I keep waiting for the day where we get specific home/road uniform options. So many players where different colors and styles depending on if it's home or road games. Catchers are the most noteworthy, many have completely different colors that they wear. This is especially annoying to me since I always play as catcher.

Indians changed their uniforms!! The belts, undershirts and socks for their home uniforms are gonna be navy this year. Wonder if SDS can get that change into the game?

Looks very nice and I especially like it with the multicolored block C hat. I really hope this change is in 19.

Hope they’ll have real Spring Training jerseys this year.

If not, don’t mind the cool BP jerseys but please add NOB and numbers. For some strange reason, 2 teams, Dodgers & Braves had numbers & NOB on their BP uniforms.

They should definitely include the Spring Training cap/jersey patch, seems crazy to me that they never include these. They obviously haven’t built a quick and simple mechanism for adding patches to jerseys like other games.

Doesn’t those uniforms also require special licensing? I know that’s the case for the spring training stadiums that’s why they’re not in.

No. They are under the MLB, New Era, and Majestic license. All of which The Show has the rights to. The reason given to us for them not being in the game was there isn’t enough memory to put all of them in. So they put the BP jerseys in instead, stating they’d get more use.

This is from the Gamestop Monday from today. Gary Sanchez is at bat and I noticed there is a logo of some kind on the right sleeve. The Majestic brand logo is usually on the left sleeve so I'm thinking this is the MLB 150 Anniversary patch that all teams will be wearing this year. Let's hope they include Postseason and World Series patches on the sleeves and sides of caps for postseason play.
