SDS has always been somewhat secretive with the new equipment. We won't know, if it's like last year, what all equipment is in the game until we actually get our hands on it.

I’m still holding out hope that we will be able to add brand logos to wrist and arm bands. Seems like that’d be an easy thing to put in.

Saw they added the Chop House in Atlanta. Hopefully they added more to the backdrop outside of the stadium. They did a pretty good job last year, but in left center field outside the stadium was dull. Now that there are more reference photos out there hopefully that is filled in with more buildings in 18.

That's a negative. They said no team/stadium creator in the stream. There are simply a few legend teams that you can load up to play with. No more than that. They haven't even clicked on the franchise tab yet...everything has been play now.

I could be wrong - wouldn't be the first time but I heard them say no stadium creator and can't transport created logos from the show 17 to 18. That would leave the door cracked open for user created teams in franchise. Maybe they will discuss it in the DD thread but to see user created teams/logos in "play now" mode for the first time makes me wonder if they have escaped diamond dynasty.

Not to mention the two buildings in RCF are angled differently in real life, where there is barely a perceived gap between the two from home plate.

Part of their beauty also stems from the fact that they reflect the blueness of the sky and such, and aren't just dull and gray.

I couldn't tell from the one revealing of the Chop House whether or not anything has actually changed in the backdrop yet, but we shall see. Personally, I will be disappointed if nothing has changed, especially as I'm playing a Braves franchise.

The BSC is great for me to work on some of these stances, though.

The problem with 17 was they went based off of sketches (I'm assuming early sketches) of Suntrust Park. They actually got the sketches from the construction company if I'm not mistaken. Chances are the sketches didn't have every building surrounding the park in it (Could be why the buildings in RCF are close together as well). So, I'm hoping that has changed in 18 since there are plenty of photos out there now.

That was the main reason i didn't run with the Braves in MLB 17. The park itself in game is beautiful as well as RF/RCF and the building beyond LF, but LCF is just lacking that is all. I'm chalking it up to early sketches or they just ran out of time.

I am absolutely aware of that fact, no doubt. Most video games with new parks look lackluster the first year for that exact reason, and then the next year they look pretty great.

We'll just see if that holds true for SunTrust Park, though. And although it looked pretty good in those areas inside the park, I still think some areas outside the park left a lot to be desired, including collision detection out there.

I rolled with the Braves because of the franchise carry-over feature, but we'll see how well that holds up.

I usually do my team and then I will do the team I'm playing next on the road in Dynasty mode. Sometimes I'll go ahead and do that entire division and be done with those teams. I usually get most, if not all done. I've learned by doing it this way I am getting the most out of the feature but I'm not having to do it all at once.

This is essentially what it looks like on my tv after making some adjustments. I’ll post pics later if i can.

Post pics of several other teams after the same adjustments. Adjusting your tv to fix one color absolutely has to alter the other colors as well.

Some really cool uniform additions, though as others mentioned, very curious they would add the Expos due to Vlad being in the game and not have the uniform he actually wore - would've much preferred their 1994 unis being included.

A little thing... why aren't teams batting practice uniforms their default uniforms for the practice modes?

I'm one that uses the practice mode fairly frequently and it bugs me to see my team using their home whites in BP knowing their practice uniforms are in the game and that they never take BP in their home uniforms.

I know there's a workaround to this but I think making the BP unis the default ones in the practice modes would be greatly appreciated.

For someone like myself who almost exclusively plays retro seasons or franchises, the expos were much much needed...too many year I've had Tim Raines suited up as a Senator...very excited! Already planning on a separate season file hopefully of an 88 89 roster with the Major League Indians movie squad. Great work SCEA!
