I usually do my team and then I will do the team I'm playing next on the road in Dynasty mode. Sometimes I'll go ahead and do that entire division and be done with those teams. I usually get most, if not all done. I've learned by doing it this way I am getting the most out of the feature but I'm not having to do it all at once.

Re: MLB The Show 18 - Twitch Stream - Batting Stance Creator & The Little Things (LIV
So, there are two parts to this bit that I want to chime in on:
First off, you may be right in that they implemented this because it was a highly requested feature, but it's not necessarily like they were stubbornly declaring "No!" with their arms folded in wake of such suggestions. They may not have had the proper resources to make this happen when they wanted to.
Secondly, your reaction is probably exactly a part of it: it's not fully done, and maybe they didn't want to get it out there until it was fully done. I mean don't get me wrong, it doesn't look fantastic to me either (or maybe even to the developers who want to do more on it), but you figure that with what they have now they wanted to settle the impatient folk a little bit and keep improving it year after year, much like most of their features (though replays haven't gotten more love, as I understand it).
Lastly, and this is not directed at you at all but your post made me think about it, is you wonder that with all of the things that they do tell us, it makes you wonder how many things we're kept in the dark about. Like, in a good way. Like, the developers really really want to tell us about their plans, but they can't because they have to wait until they can put it in the game.
I said earlier that even they would love a create-a-stadium! Don't you think they probably have one or two guys off to the side and going to the drawing board to figure out how to get this in the game the right way? But they can't tell us that. They can't let us know that they're trying to do something and just make people nagging in an upset manner that it's not in yet. It still may take them ten more years, but they want to release that information publicly when they feel the need to as it is robust enough. Who knows how long they've really been working on a good rain delay system, or retractable roof stadiums (which don't feature collision detection, by the way) or a strong replay system?
But comments like yours, and again I'm not picking on you at all just using an example, is likely why most things have to be hush-hush as they work diligently on those projects until they're ready to come out. I don't know how far they want to go with the feature, but I can't imagine that postponements and doubleheaders are the easiest thing to get to work right without any bugs.
I can't tell you how many years it took to get certain wishes that I've always had, but I'm not going to blame them even once for lack of effort. It's just about what they plan for. That's why I keep bringing those things up, in hopes that someday they'll come in. Whether it's new things this year like create-a-batting stance, post-swing PCI movement, stadium bleachers... or things I'm still looking for like an authentic broadcast fielding cam, improved hit variety, grass/dirt physics differentiation, proper night skies, overhauled player models (probably not till next-gen), different stances for switch-hitters, zero-stitch "madlib" commentary, a brand new PA announcer, archived player accolades for franchise mode, dynamic offset batting cameras, no more splotchy grass... I mean the list goes on forever. They gotta do what they gotta do, and I respect that. Sometimes I'm less pleased to find out that they kind of like it the way that it is and don't want to change it, but they have a small team and a difficult task.
I will cut them some slack. To be honest, I don't even like playing in games when it's rainy or overcast, mostly because there is no chance of being very dynamic (or less in previous years, at least). It is what it is, though. I think they'll continue to improve it for years to come, but it's probably not as easy as it seems either.Comment

I am able to do walk up music for every player on the 25 man roster and all in between innings stuff for every team. Then I sprinkle in some vendor sounds for all the parks, roll calls for my Yankees, and a few jeers for the umpires.

Re: MLB The Show 18 - Twitch Stream - Batting Stance Creator & The Little Things (LIV
I watched the Dev tournament stream from last year the other day. Interestingly, they answered questions both about create a stadium and rain delays. Create a stadium is supposedly a two year process. Ramone said they knew how they wanted to do it, but it would take two years and not to expect it soon basically. Rain delays, they seemed to laugh at. The devs on the stream didn't understand why anyone would want that, one even mocking why you would play a baseball video game to not play baseball. They were apathetic to the idea, and don't really mention any development problems with implementing it. So it's possible that they could have implemented this sooner, but they either didn't realize it was something people wanted or just didn't want to add it to the game.

I am one who has played every pitch of every inning several times in various franchises and season replays over the years.
And I love the Quick Manage option.
What’s wrong with giving players options to play multiple seasons?
Its a great feature and a way you can play multiple rosters and seasons at the same time.
Talk about a hyperbole statement.

Yeah in I never use the speed up
Quick
Counts ect. But the great thing about the show is your not forced to use it so doesn’t worry me. EA would force modes upon us if they were in charge
So all the changes to franchise this year sounds like this kind of things that i would never use that’s disappointing In a way for me that the only changes to franchise is just less playing of baseball and arcading it. But won’t stop
Me buying itComment

Oh yeah, one thing I completely forgot to mention earlier, I saw a few foul choppers! Finally!"The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws."
