Appreciate all the notes on the stream since apparently text articles detailing everything from video game websites are now "passé". Is there anywhere to find a full post with all of the additions/improvements people picked up from the stream?

I actually don't even understand how people are saying the red colour is close.

The thing is though, that first screenshot is from the pre-release stuff last year, like we're getting now. So that isn't the finished product. Evidence:

A) Currently playing my Sox Franchise, the red jerseys aren't anywhere close to that dark. So they definitely adjusted the Red Sox red.

B)That's Benintendi with his 2016 number, he's been 16 since release day.

I get that it's probably hard to implement it, but doing a simple cutscene (that I'm sure we'll be as tired of as the coach after a home run) with a lame "do you want to switch pitchers" selection screen just makes it look like they checked a box (like with replay). It looks half baked and just something they can include in promotional materials.

Mlb 2k had rainouts and double headers at least as early as 07. That's 11 years ago. They can do it.

I agree with you that it is disappointing but after requesting for a few years by not even having this I'll take it. I am hopeful that this will lead into more than just the delay and we'll get double headers.

I also agree this is something that is long overdue so I get the frustration that we only got half of this request. I remember this being in the old All-Star Baseball games (along with Expansion mode which we also still haven't gotten) and I believe the last in that series was either 04 or 05.

I'm really hoping they're still working on each team colors because the Nats red was definitely brighter in the stream.

Does anyone else think the Cubs & Dodgers blue is too dark?

Also the new strikezone batting cameras remind me of the old World Series games' batting camera.

I can't hit the broad side of a barn with those strikezone hitting cameras. It creates tunnel vision for me and I feel like I have to swing at everything, lol.

Same here. I can’t see where the ball is with those cameras. I end up swinging at stuff up around the helmet. I still use MLB 15, or whatever the classic one is called now. It’s worked for me for 10 years. Don’t see a need to switch.

One thing after watching these early videos.

Since I'm playing my franchise in '16, I was going to move my franchise over to '17 and work on my CAPs since the editor/creator is better on '17 than '16. But after seeing the options available in '18, I think I'll just wait and edit my CAPs in '18 instead of working on them twice.

The uniform colors are awful for this game. For a game that prides itself in “the little things”, the colors are totally off. The red for a lot of teams looks super muddied or pink. Oranges look muddied. Blacks look faded. They should def try and fix colors before release.

If you look at madden 18, you can see how accurate the colors are for every team . It immediately jumped out to me when I played it. Vibrant colors just jump off the screen.

Uniform colors NEED to be addressed... As Ramone clearly stated uniforms were a primary focus this year.

I don't understand how people can use those. I was awful before. I started using fish eye last year because it was the default and by the end of the month I moved my hitting up to hall of fame alongside my pitching.

Looks like during the gameplay portion that Bregman is possibly wearing the new Nike Huraches but since they are mainly all black I can't quite tell. He's also wearing Marrucci gloves but I think a lot of people know about that already.

Good news potentially for people who have experienced this issue, but I haven't seen runners immediately diving back to the base when the ball is put into play.

I know a few people have had this issue in the past, but in the very small sample size we have available, I don't recall seeing it.

For the "little things" stream, they really didn't show many of the "little things" that makes The Show great. They talked about all the new HR animations and celebrations and well as new dugout celebrations, yet didn't show any. They mentioned how great rain and fog looks now, then they play a game under a sunny sky the entire time. And to show the rain delay feature they showed a low-quality recorded video. They couldn't trigger it using the dev tools? Hopefully this feature is more than just a random text box popping up as it rains. I would have liked to have seen the tarp and some commentary to go along with it. These are "little things" that add so much to the game, yet we saw nothing, really. I guess a lot of those things fall under presentation and we'll get them next week.

One thing I'm really glad they got in is using different sounds for each theme. This is going to add a lot to my Franchise. I can have the YES Network songs play for theme 1 (or 2) and maybe add a FOX Sports or TBS for the other, and of course keep the MLB Network theme as is.
