I hope to see this as well. What I don’t want to see (or hear rather) is an empty stadium sounding like it’s game 7 of the World Series!

I expect SDS to make those situations sound appropriate.

Baseball games in the past had that?

I think we could definitely see fans with gloves on, but see them actually catching foul balls and homers with the glove seems like it'd be a lot more work.

Like the fans would need their own animations and physics i guess.

I wonder if there will be any special 7th inning stretch presentations?

Has any baseball game been able to pull off what NFL 2k5 did in regards to postgame highlights from around the league? That would be such a neat feature someday.
It’s presumed complexity could create a programming nightmare when thinking about it, which in turn could explain why it’s not available lol.

            The 2k series had it.

Fans catch balls now in the stands.

Personally, I think I'd like to see a revolving door for one of the guys in the booth. I mean, there's no danger of anyone complaining they are tired of Reynolds come the dog days of August.

I don't think too many parks even allow them anymore. I've been to quite a few here on the East coast and most of them seem to have banned the use of them in the stands by now (as they should).

I would like for them to bring the bouncing beach ball back. Hasn't been in since MLB 13. There is a cut scene of the beach ball on the field, but that isn't what I'm talking about. The beach ball would bounce around in the stands and you could see it during gameplay and in replays.

Want to see a raving crazy crowd in September at Yankee Stadium when we take on the dreaded Red Sox.

I can’t wait to see that in action!
If they really nail it, we'll see some empty seats even in the early rounds of the playoffs for some of the teams (I won't name any names though lol).

Maybe a silly question, but as neat as dynamic attendance is, hasn’t it been in the show for a long time? Here’s a blog from 2009 that talks about it

Maybe they took it out in recent years and I missed that.

The system might be smarter this time around and more visually reflective based on the situation. It was in the game already at some capacity.

Makes sense. Would be nice to see visually the filing out of fans after a big HR in the later innings by the away team.

Yeah this happens a fair amount in the MLB the show promotional material. Where they'll promote something as if it's a totally new feature but really it's just a refinement. Looking back at past few years they talked about Player AI (routes, running to balls, reaction time, etc.) as a big new feature multiple times in sequential years.
