Some really cool little things here. The new stadium camera angles are refreshing. The emotion animations were cool as well. I thought Puig was going to get tossed after his little tirade, haha. Crowd looks way better although I wish they wore more jerseys. Fog looked nice. Bud Black is in. Liked how he said Matty doesn't need to comment on every single play. Hope Todd Helton will be a legend.

I love that they added this. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is that Ramone already said players won't be ejected unless it's a pitcher hitting batters. A player acting like that is going to get tossed more often then not so it's not realistic and a bit arcade.

If MLB won't allow ejections and brawls why would they allow this in the game?

Kinda off topic, but if Acuna makes the opening day roster, it will suck if the commentators will refer to him by his jersey number. I wish they did some mid season updates.

I was a little skeptical about the dynamic commentary angle, only because it still felt like things were still assigned to specific players (like when they said something about Bumgarner and Kershaw). My hope is that even if you're 25 years into franchise mode and you have two other lefties of the same caliber, that that dialogue piece can still be triggered, or at least something like it. Kirby and Ross did address that it is in there for that very reason, so let's hope that it does play out like that!

Overall the new commentary sounds much better and more natural than years past. One thing that has driven me crazy in years past and still is, for example, around 33 minutes in there's a homerun and the commentary is just lagging. Meaning, the ball is already landing in the stands when you hear the commentator say "Profar looking up... and it's gone!" The "Profar looking up" should happen earlier and not while the ball is landing in the stands.

I also love the new sound of the ball hitting the wall out in the stands on a homerun early on in the stream.

Atleast you can win. Being in Canada I can never win anything unless don't changes the rules and allows people outside of the United States to win.

Just played a game to check, during the game, press right on the Dpad. That’ll bring up the pitcher-batter matchup screen. Just cycle through the batter-pitcher breakdown menu. You'll get the # of each pitch thrown and the strike % of each pitch.

What about the Pitch Speed? How do we know when a new pitcher comes in the game what the speed is for each pitch. For example in 16 when you press pause...you see this

Change up 85 mph
Curveball 78 mph

So you always know what your up against. Seems kind of odd that in game now you have no idea

I'd assume it's still under the pause screen (option button) in '18 once game starts.
The screen you posted was still during pre-game it looks like

jeez last year all we got was the Cubs in every game, now all we get is the Yankees in the streams lol

I bet Judge has a major reason to do with it. I want next year's cover boy to be a NY Met. Maybe Noah Syndergaard or deGrom. The Show guys seem to have a great relationship with them

-Fog looks great
-Better conversation commentary
-The drone shots are beautiful!
-Love the fact the crowd now reatcs appropriately and don’t go crazy before they know if it’s a homerun or not. Hopefully the lazy baseeunner walk (that would give away if it was a homerun right away) is gone as well.
-Better facial emotions always welcome
-OSD’s looking sharper with more info/stats

I really hope they can eventually patch in those player portraits of the players who are added into the game. It's a "little thing" that I care about and helps me when navigating the menus. Just for the rookies and callups would be nice during roster updates
