Great stream. My favorite part was how they did crowd reactions. I've posted about this a few times, but they look to have captured that moment between anticipatory excitement and jubilation/disappointment in fan reactions. That's HUGE to me for immersion.

Super pumped about this stuff.

This game looks incredible. I love that they fixed the Catcher helmets, too. Really hope, but doubt, that they go back to “the show live” like in ‘14. Where you could play the daily games and it would have correct rosters, stats etc. but you could also use changes to stances, equipment, windups and CAP’s instead of it now just being the generic scea updated roster.

I didn’t notice. What did they fix on catchers helmets?

Some really cool little things here. The new stadium camera angles are refreshing. The emotion animations were cool as well. I thought Puig was going to get tossed after his little tirade, haha. Crowd looks way better although I wish they wore more jerseys. Fog looked nice. Bud Black is in. Liked how he said Matty doesn't need to comment on every single play. Hope Todd Helton will be a legend.

Lets face it guys. The commentary is going to get stale no matter what they do. When I'm playing, I tune it out.

I do like the fact there having more of a conversation than just saying lines.

I'm glad to here about the new presentation music.

For Franchise- is weather still going to be auto generated? Plays into the realism for me instead of choosing whether i want rain, or overcast or sun.

I know in years past it was Auto generated in franchise, with the ability to change it if we want ( i never did). SO hope they left that in

The Cloud Cover option was still in the frontend before they loaded into their franchise game, so I'm assuming last year's method hasn't changed - it randomly chooses the weather for that screen, but you can change it manually if you want.

Well, I shouldn't say it's necessarily random - I'm sure it auto generates based on the game location's climate to some extent.

Also, Something i missed- ( i havent played `17.) im a 16 Junkie played 10 years of franchise mode, really deep into this game

But when your batting, how do you see the opposing pitchers Pitch Types/Speed. In 16 Once you pressed Pause you can see the pitches/Pitch Speeds/% of strike thrown, but i dont see that in these videos.

Yeah just checked 16 Again, other than the pause screen, Where are you able to see the Pitch Type,Pitch Speed % of each pitch thrown, Balls, Strikes, Total pitches.

This is when your batting and want to see what the opposing pitcher has to offer

Just played a game to check, during the game, press right on the Dpad. That’ll bring up the pitcher-batter matchup screen. Just cycle through the batter-pitcher breakdown menu. You'll get the # of each pitch thrown and the strike % of each pitch.
