Once again like I said in a different thread. The "scripted" RTTS gameplay is still here. In the video he was playing 2nd base, and EVERY hit the opposing team hit went straight to him and were ground balls.

This is a problem that has plagued RTTS for YEARS. There is no randomness at all. And please don't say it was this way to show the features in the video. No it's not. This is how RTTS is.

I want a realistic game where even if I'm playing RF or CF...maybe I only get 2-3 fly outs the entire game. Just give me randomness. I don't want every hit or 90% of the hits straight to me so I can gain xp points by making the right decisions and throws.

If I go through an ENTIRE game and not one ball is hit to me or a select few are, I"M FINE WITH THAT.

Are you being purposefully blind. The default for RTTS when fielding is to only show you plays you are involved in. In that video his first attempt was in the 1st inning and the second and third was in the 3rd inning and the next one after that was the 5th inning. That is not every time that they hit the ball.

Bro, this is an option in game. You can choose to ONLY play the balls that are hit to you in the field. That’s what they were using in this video.

However, there is also an option where you play every single play/pitch. You will see balls hit to the outfield, third base and strikeouts while you stand there at 2nd base.

The game is not saying “let’s hit you an absurd amount of ground balls to 2nd base because that’s your position.” And it’s also not inflating fielding opportunities for you to give you more chances to increase attributes. It’s random/statistically based.

It’s not scripted, there are different ways to play.

Im previous streams, The Pitch speeds were not there on the pause screen, so I am glad to see it is there now.

Another question, We see the Today stats for the batter example 2 for 2. But how would we view the season status in game? Before when you Pause the game, it would show .275 Avg 30Hr 92 RBI and 2 For 2 today

If your playing a season mode such as franchise it would be good to know the batters season stats in game.

Well every one of them will be hit to him if he has it set to sim to next play involving your player (cant remember what its called).

So if I'm playing SS and it's a big time hitter like Stanton and the count is 3-2, I know it's NOT going to be a HR because I'm playing in the infield during that at-bat.

That's the predictable-ness I'm talking about. I might not be fully explaining what I mean.

Basically when I'm using that option, I've never seen a HR or another big play happen while I was playing defense.

Then turn the option off? It is doing exactly what you are telling the game to do which is show you the plays only that you are directly involved with. You want randomness of the ball coming to you or not, then don't select the option to prevent it.

The game on 1080P looks stunning. I really like the new progression system. No more training points and micro-transactions.

RTTS is shaping up to be even better this year with a lot more player interactions. Looking forward to hearing a lot more on the twitch stream.
