15 by far - the last one that could be played on my Vita and my PS4, transferring the RTTS or franchise back and forth. Man, I miss that feature . . .

On PS3 I adored 11

12 was a great stepup in ball physics but they removed the real time presentation.

On the PS4 I have loved each new iteration more than the previous.

The game for me gameplay wise gets better and better each new release. A testament to SDS.

18 will be no different. I expect it to be the best yet.

MLB 16. It also has the best camera for outfielders while defending ( removed for a worse and arcade one ). 17 was a mess, really unbalanced and frustrating as hell after spending months trying to fix it with slides or waiting for patches ( with no success ).

First off, hello , I'm new here.

I don't really have a favorite version of The Show. I had all of them until '14 and had many baseball games over the years on various systems before The Show even existed. Granted The Show has gotten more complex and has had better graphics over the years, but at the time, I enjoyed playing them all. I spent the most play time on '11 on PS3, so you might say it was my favorite. Shortly after getting '14 (PS3) my PS3 along with other various electronics died when lightning hit my house and I never really got to enjoy it. Since then I've mainly been playing games on PC, but I still play '10 on PS2 a few days a week. I've really been itching to get back into baseball the last few months and have been following all the videos and articles about MLB '18 and I am really looking forward to it. I don't even currently own a PS4, but I will be purchasing a PS4 Pro next weekend. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure that '18 will become my favorite here in a few days.

13 for me. The hitting at point of contact was at its best as far as pci placement creating each type of contact/result. No ps4 version has captured that impact of contact like 13. Sound wise too the crack of the bat has been really weak on the ps4. Stand around an mlb or milb cage and you’ll notice the violence of the wood meeting the ball. I really hope they fix this soon.

I have to agree with you about the hitting, and the results from where contact is made. For some odd reason I just recently fired up '13 on my PS3 and played it for awhile. The thing I couldn't help but notice was what you just mentioned about the hitting. It's so much better than all of the games that have since followed. I'm sure the devs at SDS are already aware of this, I wonder what happened?

Honestly, MLB 11.

Purely because the game felt very solid and because of something else it had thats been lost.

The fact that all the cutscenes in-game ran in real time. All the cut aways that happen in the game is really happening and isn't some prescripted scene. Everything was happening in real time, I miss when The Show was like that.

17 for me! My most played game of any in 2017! Got into DD for the first time and was sucked in. Soooooooo looking forward to continuing on with TS18 and super excited for all the new and fixed gameplay things!! Hopefully less online cheese although cheesers will cheese and there's always something to exploit. [emoji39]

I think that 17 is a very good game, but I have to go with 11. It feels that I nearly doubled my time spent playing that year over any other year.

The first year that they added Challenge of the Week (mlb10 or 11) will hold a special place in my memories.

I spent my elementary school summers hitting rocks with a stick behind my house for hours each day. Just hitting.

When MVP 05 had the hitting mini gamewith the tractors that was all that I played. I used Todd Helton and just hit.

When I play franchise now I fast forward through the pitching and only hit, all 162 games.

And every year I play Challenge of the Week, 25-50 rounds every new matchup, trying to finish 1st.

Hitting a baseball (or rock) is just therapy to me.

12 was for the longest. 14 and 15 came close and I think 17 will be my favorite, barring 18 knocking my socks off (it might with the "meta detail" they seem to be adding and refining tags and hit trajectories more).

I see that a lot of people were not happy with 17 I see 15 seems to be most popular but would that be because the ps4 was so new and different?

I really loved mlb 12 player that to death

I'm hoping that 2018 will be the best year !
Too many glitches in all previous games !
