I mean, maybe baseball video games isn’t for you...

This can’t be a knock on Sony for producing an incredible game year in and year out. Maybe it’s just not the type of game for you.

What do you want in the game?

I know I could use create a stadium and maybe relocate a team and some other stuff added to franchise but I never get bored of playing it. In fact im playing it right now

Other than 17 Yes. I use to get the show , play it for 2 weeks , then sell it off.

17 was different. I still have it and will probably trade it in next week for 18 preorder.

Can I just ask people in this forum if I am right or wrong that the game gets boring after a while? I don't even play a whole season and I love baseball games. I think Sony needs a competitor in the baseball areana so they have competition. Tell me what you guys think?

I think maybe you should pick up RBI 17 on sale cheap. Also maybe try giving Harold Reynolds more than a week's try. He'll grow on you after a couple months. I'm gonna miss him in 18. I wish it was Plesac that was leaving.

No I love baseball video games. I loved MLB 2k. I know Sony can only do so much with a baseball game every year. Why can't they just get the damn commentary right . I heard the new commentary on stream it's still not great. Maybe slightly better from what I heard. If they are like showing the little things in the game then stop with the fast play feature on all modes.

They got rid of slow play where we have the option to watch all of the walk ups and all of the replays just like in real broadcast.

Also why doesn't the batter ever leave the box or show them getting ready for the next pitch in the game. After you throw a pitch the catcher throws the ball back and the batter is just motionless in the batter box waiting for the next pitch. Why can't you make the batter look at the coaches for signs like in a real game and step out of the batters box. The stagnate batters needs to be fixed. Also, when yoy hit a foul the ball you see the ball leave the camera view and swipe right to the pitcher. Why can't the camera follow ever foul ball. Why all these fast swipes still in the game. I just don't get it. Why have modes like fast and normal play when it's the same thing. Why can't we watch all the animations play out . These are just some of the things that bother me.

RBI 17 actually isn't bad. It's not the show but not bad. Lol

I am not into that stuff. I only play season mode. I am not into RTTS either. People like those modes I don't. Lol

So you state that you haven’t picked up the game since 2015 , then just recently got 17 and now you’re bored after 5 games ... are you sure you’re a baseball fan ? Doesn’t seem to me like you’ve given the game a fair chance and enough time to play. But that’s my .02 cents .

Why do you guys have to knock me becuse Iam not allowed to critize the game. I have been playing baseball games since I was little. I am now 42. Just because I express my feelings on certain issues with the game I get replies back are you sure your a baseball fan.

You're not wrong with the things you'd like to see in the game and Matty V is a little stale at this point. But bored after just 5 games after not playing since 2015??? No offense but maybe it's you not the game.

I just got done winning the World Series in Franchise, playing every single one of the 180 games.

The game isn't that boring.

It's probably I am bored because it's the same exact game every year with a few tweaks here and there with roster updates.

Can't argue with you but I continue to enjoy it each year. I've bought The Show every year since 07. Maybe you can try the different modes to try and keep the game fesh.
