This may have been possible last year, but I never thought to try... I was fooling around with Y2Y Franchise saves, and decided to try an in-game save from The Show 17. Don't ya know it worked!? Picked right up in the 2nd inning where I had saved, with the updated Chris Archer on the mound.

Loading screen showed my Rule V drafted catcher as a rising star.

I don't know why I didn't realize it during the dev stream, but the score bug now stays on the screen throughout the play. And that's notable because it can now pop up things like a Home Run banner right after it happens, just like the real broadcasts.

Edit: Wait, yes I do - because it disappeared during play in that stream. Interesting...maybe it only stays on for offline games?

Let the game run unpaused while typing a post, and one of the cut scenes showed the NL West's standings in my current franchise (though it's an NL East vs. NL East matchup lol but still cool).

I really really hope that osd bug is not still in the game. There was so many bug reports about it and it was never fixed in 17.

I know this might be something others don't even notice, but I really like all the new casual catch animations they did for catching fly balls with no one on base or to end an inning. Adds a lot to the immersion of the game.

Having difficulty with manually injuring players. I've selected disabled list and pressed L2. Nothing. Is it different this year? Any help would be appreciated.

I went into my settings in the main menu and switched injuries to manual, then I went into one of my franchises and it worked for me.

I’ve only been able to play a few innings here and there, but at Progressive Field, John Adams (Indians drummer) now seems to only bang his drum when Indians have a runner/runners in scoring position, just like IRL. Last few editions it’s been kinda random.

I'm thinking this was just random chance, but it would be really cool if it was intentional. In my carry over, Posey was catching for my Ace, who he never misses a game with, and was being really animated and communicative with him. Later, he catches for my #3 guy, someone he almost never catches for, and was being really reserved, all business. Probably random chance, but it would be really cool if the game knew that Posey and my Ace had good rapport.
