Matt called out my RTTS player's draft position and contract year (which, admittedly, is kinda odd in AA ball), if that's any indication.

As a presentation guy, I really think they undersold the presentation elements, replays, stadium fly ins, and cutscenes this year. All the new replays are awesome and will definitely make this year’s game more fresh as we grind through our franchises. Loving the look of this year’s game. Best looking Show ever!

flashing bases? is that a real thing? MLB has become a complete circus , (game is secondary to the sideshow and showboating) if so. I stopped watching pro sports in the mid 90's because of this garbage.

On the score bug.... Watch the top left:

Real MLB broadcasts do that too.

hahahaha, I gotcha'. Funny thing is, I wouldn't have been surprised if this happened in real life.

Had my first game in the rain. Heavier in the beginning, not hard a few innings later, came back and was gone by the end of the game. I also called up Dominic Smith before the game. As I'm loading up I see this...

They highlight how he's making his debut. I begin to shove Clay Buchholz in a locker, and this happens...

His other ABs, DeRo talks about how he's got the monkey off his back and is more relaxed with him having a hit under his belt. Nice seeing the story continue throughout the game. Another thing I noticed is the body types seem to stand out more to me. Michael Saunders was long, Thor is a giant man, Kendrick is nowhere near them. I'm digging the little things, and noticing a bunch...

Among the names Matt Vasgersian can say are Mike Truk, Sleve McDichael, and Bobson Dugnutt.

The presentation in this year's game is so understated and underrated! The fly overs and drone camera shots are a thing of beauty. I think DeRo adds a lot to the commentary with his insights.

The dynamic and personal commentary is great, as is the storyline aspect mention above. I actually checked commentary against franchise stats after a game and it was spot on. And it's not just for real players, but CAPs too.

Gameplay, from player "weight-iness", to the swings and dives (another understated upgrade) are a thing of beauty!

And graphically, this game is just... Wow!

Sounds of the show just takes audio files you provide (via expandable memory) and allows you to assign them to specific instances, like a player's batting entrance, or the sound played over the PA when the home team scores a run.

You have to find .mp3 on the internet for stuff like he was talking about, but they're not terribly difficult to find. You'd then copy those files onto a removable device like a USB drive and put them a file on the root called Music. I'm not 100% sure of the file structure but that's also a google away.

You'd then go into the SOTS menus in-game and import all your audio files, and in a separate screen you are given choice as to where you'd like to assign your specific audio files. You can assign a song to play over the PA as it would in real life, you just have to find that audio file and transfer it from a PC to a USB device to the PS4. It's not complicated, just tedious.

just saw Machado broke his bat after a strikeout a la Bo Jackson.

Played all my 162 franchise games with ‘17 and never seen that.

It was pretty cool and circumstance that happened makes sense as well. End of 9th, 1 out, walk off runner on second.

Yeah CAPS are simply amazing this year.

Last year a few of them gave me nightmares.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Certain. The two times I had the spotlight commentary, they weren't in the outfield. How bow dat?
