So many new little things make one "BIG" game.

Was playing with rookie Piazza. Had him playing 3B game. His first AB, the announcers mentioned him playing 3B even though he’s most known for playing either C or 1B.

They finally fixed the crowd responding to the mascot. When the mascot signals to the crowd to get loud or get on your feet at the start or during a rally, they follow suit, really nice to see.

The more I think about it, you are totally right.

Maybe next year, they can add personalized inputs for celebrations. So when you get that single, you can press Square or Circle, and have the base runner either moonwalk over the base, or do the dolphin.

Maybe for a double, they will ramp it up to a backflip or a cartwheel. Really show the fun of getting a hit.

I’m new to this game and am having a problem throwing a fielded ground ball from shortstop to first base. I catch the ball and press the circle button and get a meter. I tried R2 and R1 to release the ball and either throw it into the dugout or in the dirt. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Well, if you're new to the game, perhaps use the classic button throw (no meter) and then do some practicing with the meter.

While playing my Rangers franchise last night against the A's the CPU turned a 5 to 4 to 3 double play and during the broadcast replay I noticed after the second baseman releases the ball to first his eyes begin to follow the runner up the line.

It all depends on the throwing interface you are using. There should have been a tutorial that popped up when you first attempted a throw. If you missed it, you can utilize the Options Explorer from the main menu. Find your throwing interface in this mode, and it will walk you through its usage.

So many cool little things this year.
A little thing they had last year but appears to be removed or nerfed is the sound of the ball hitting objects such as banging of green monster or chain fence.
                            Anybody else not hearing this?
Hopefully this can be fixed as this was a nice immersion playing as the Sox

The meter automatically comes up. How do I use classic.

They actually let the game breathe now. I've been banging out franchise games on broadcast presentation, and if you let the game go, there will sometimes be no commentary until the next pitch is on its way. Something small, dare I say, "little", that improves on what was once was a few years ago...
