Not sure if game is designed this way or if it was a fluke, but cool to see nonetheless.
this happens to be in Diamond Dynasty they play Him on extreme shift as well..

So again it literally not the most unrealistic thing they could have done. lol
Your buddy doesn't happen to be Matt Antonelli is he? He is a huge YouTuber and played for the Padres for a brief time and made a video on this topic specifically

Wrong time frame & Antonelli was at Ft. Wayne less than a week, barey enough time to get one number, let alone 3

His post was about them playing him straight up in the third game, suggesting the system could be dynamic based on performance, which would be incredible.

Wanted to mention a few things:

          1. Watched a batter go down to grab some dirt as they do, from one of the broadcast shots you could actually see the dirt move. Was surprised by that.

          2. Appreciate how they changed it back so the walk-up screen shows position again instead of handedness.

          3. Really appreciate the new swing-and-miss animations. Much needed, especially while batting.

          4. Really impressed with the new face guards, specifically how I have yet to see one clip with a player’s face. Really well done.
          Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Game does not acknowledg 3000 strike outs by a starting pitcher in game. Got to 3000 strike out with John Lester.

That should be reported in the bugs thread rather than posted here.

I was playing against the Rockies and David Dahl comes to bat.
Underneath where it says 2017 stats, it said "missed all of 2017 due to injury".

So this may or may not be new but this is my first time seeing this. I was playing a franchise game at Wrigley and kris Bryant hit a double to center field and the ball got lost in the vines for a ground rule double. I've never seen a ball get stuck in the vines at Wrigley

In Game no.3 after the newest patch early morning. I was playing the Phillies & Carlos Santana was on 2nd with 1 out.

Someone hit a soft flyout beyond 1B fouline & chase it down with Freddie. Caught it & got the out. But I threw it to third base. The throw was way short, actually 3B Camargo had to catch it on the pitcher's mound. Carlos Santana took third sucessfully because there was no one covering. Never seen or happen before.

                        Did the fielder react accordingly.

First time in all the years playing the show I saw this yesterday:

Runners at first and second, shot to the gap in left center at Fenway. JBJ plays it very nicely and I throw the ball to the cutoff for home. The runner who was on second decides to hold up at third instead of trying to score, and the batter cruises into second....with the runner from first standing there already.

I throw to second, tag one of the runners standing on the bag, and get the out call.

I have never seen a base running blunder like that, so, I nominate that for a "little thing".

Pull my pitcher in the 7th after a lead off single. Catcher walks out to the mound, shakes his hand, walks off to loud cheering, takes off his cap and waves to the crowd. More i play, more cool stuff i see.

I got this one in a test RTTS I was doing on the first time I went deep into a game with a lead. Was the pitcher a rookie, by any chance?
