Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things
I'm sure this one is somewhere in the thread already but the batter cracking a smile or laughing when they come to the plate like the umpire or opposing teams catcher said something funny.
I noticed too the other night in my Rangers franchise while I was batting with Carlos Tocci. The commentary never says his name, they always use his number when he comes to the plate but a fan in the crowd said "come on Carlos"Texas Rangers/Saints/LSU/Tottenham Hotspur

Not sure if this is new for 18, but playing at the Minor League ballpark, Blue River Stadium, you can see the cars driving over the bridge. Especially noticeable in an evening game.Comment

I just seen a woman holding up her cell phone taking picture/video in between innings. Nice touch.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things
The set up
Hot game roof open Dodgers vs D'backs, Greinke pitching. Runners at the corner 1 out, Bells at Bat in protect mode(end-user) 7th pitch 5th inning 0 - 0 game.
Man the amount of sweat that accumulated on Greinke was amazing as he was trying to induce a double play a big bubble formed under his chin. I was able to drive in the run with a single and the sweat bubble was getting bigger(it looked stupid) but I understood what SDS was going for here. I was expecting him to come out next inning with that sweat bubble but it was gone. Got him in a bind later and the sweat began to pour again. Nice touch.
I hope the next phase is to let the sweat fall from his face, because that bubble is weird looking.Last edited by Impetuous65; 05-08-2018, 10:29 AM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things
Yolmer Sanchez at bat. 3 ball 1 strike count. Next pitch is low ball 4. Drop your bat and head to first. After a few steps toward first yolmer turns and says something to the umpire and retrieves his bat as it was called strike two. Never seen that before. Always something new.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things
I've been playing this series since 07 version. Last night on the 16 version my batter threw his bat. First time I ever saw that.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things
Ya gotta pay attention. Paul Golfschmidt, big guy, not slow, hits a sharp liner into left center. I get over quickly, thinking just a single as I throw to the cutoff man. Nope he doesn’t stop, head first slide into second, lol. I can only chalk it up to the comeback code......Comment

Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things
Little Things...that piss you off...
I need some justification as to how a pitch IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STRIKE ZONE is called a ball. Go ahead. That’s not a variable call, that’s a ****ing disgrace. Not once, twice, but thrice in one game.Comment
