I JUST had the same thing happen to me the other day. I was using a 2001 file and thought I had a HR down the RF line. The animation popped up where you could watch it...and...foul ball! Fooled me too!

Ok I'm pretty sure this wasn't programmed in it was just by chance but if it were on purpose it would be really cool.

Playing spring training and my #4 guy Eric Hosmer hits a clutch home run to take the lead. He trots over home plate looking pumped and goes to double high five the #5 hitter. Thing is, the #5 hitter is normally 5'8" Trey Bloom. As he approaches 6'2" Willy Almanzar there is a moment of hesitation. Hosmer's hands are too low and he's about to smack Almanzar in the face. Hosmer adjusts quickly, completes the double high five, and struts of towards the bench doing a couple of cathartic fist pumps, leaving Almanzar with one of those sheepish half smiles a person gets when they think something was awkward but they're just going to roll with it anyways.

          ^ Interesting, not sure there.

Some cutscenes in the game are still the scripted ones though where they have all player models the same, so when I finished a game after Bartolo "Two Slices" Colon had with a strong [non-CG] outing, they had a shot of him in the dugout, but he was probably like a 200 lb looking guy, so he just looked squished-skinny. It was weird but hilarious at the same time.

I hope I can get another game like that from him and get that cutscene to take a picture of it.

Played a game against the Texas Rangers last night and after scoring a few runs in the 4th inning a stat popped up on the screen showing that they had the second worse Team ERA in baseball this season. The commentators touched on it and it was perfectly timed.

Re: MLB The Show 18 The Little Things

Last night I hit a ball down the line that I thought was going to fade foul. Much to my pleasant surprise, however, the ball stayed fair as I cruised to a stand-up double. I went into replay to see how close the ball was from being fair/foul and noticed that the ball hit right on the foul line. What I noticed then was something I hadn't seen before, white powder/dust flew up when the ball hit the foul line. Now, given, foul lines in the grass are pained, but nonetheless, I thought it was cool.

I'd love to try this game. I rented 4 copies from redbox and all 4 had been stolen out of the case and had the sticker put on the case so the machine would take it back.

When your player dive or slide in Roger's centre, the dirt becomes grey on uniforms. Any other stadium its brown as it should be..... really wish this could be fixed... it's a small thing but it just doesn't look right

I read somewhere online in MLB the Show 18 George M. Steinbrenner Field was in the game. I own the game and playing pre-season and I haven't seen it. Does any one know if this is in the game as an easter egg or a game goal achievement?

The field in Tampa, that they play spring training at and low minor league ball? It has never been in the game. They don't have the rights to it and I doubt it ever gets in the game.
