I hit a weak ground ball to the edge of the grass in between the 1st and 2nd base. The defense was in a shift so the 2nd baseman was in the shallow outfield. The 1st baseman fielded the ball and tossed it to the pitcher covering 1st. The pitcher was slow and running step for step with the batter. The only way he was going to get the runner was by tag. I recognized this and slide head first going into first. The pitcher had enough awareness to reach down and tag me out as I was sliding on a bang bang play.

I tried to save the play but my system wouldnt let me save the video.

I have a reverse little thing.

Pitchers are stepping on the chalk every time I get the pregame cutscene where they are walking out of the dugout to the mound.

I have seen that cutscene around a dozen times now and I think there is no version where they avoid the foul line.

It's a little thing, and it's missing.

I am loving the dirt on the uniforms..looks much more realistic this year and happens almost instantly when a player slides..Dirt on the diamond also looks great and I like seeing the foot prints/trails...

I don't know if it's a "little thing", but I did notice something I haven't before. In every previous iteration of the game, whenever I have let go of L2 a little early when trying to steal and my guy takes off, the pitcher immediately steps off and I get stuck in the rundown and tagged out eventually. But yesterday, I let go way too early, my runner took off, and he was probably halfway to second base and the pitcher still went in to his windup! It was unreal. Ended up stealing a base with a 40-speed guy because the AI pitcher wasn't paying attention.

When they mentioned "on field camera", I was like meh! ok, because on paper it doesn't sound like an immersion check box item. Well, sometimes ignorance is stupidity, of which I suffered from at the time.

On Field Camera are Awesome, this one really made me take notice.

On Field Camera are Awesome, this one really made me take notice.

There's a more beautiful one that they have, the one that is lower with a wider view. You'll nearly crap your pants when you first see it.

By the way, I thought your video was going to be about the no-doubt HR cam activating and the ball didn't leave the yard.

Delino Deshields Jr's helmet flying off sliding safe into 2nd hustling out a double on a ball in the gap but was cutoff by the RF making it a really close play at 2nd.

When I was watching it real time I was like Holy Crap his helmet just flew off as he went into the slide!! So cool to see! The sound of the slide and his foot hitting the bag were spot on to.

This happened in 17 it's nothing new. It happens once in awhile.

The lettering. I keep staring at the orange outline of the Mets road uniforms...

I guess I haven't played enough to notice yet. I am in the first series still in my Franchise, so no road play yet

After the starting pitcher is pulled shows a cut scene of him on the bench wiping his brow and drinking a gatorade.

Now that SDS addressed the audio(1.06), I'm finding the atmosphere "chants, jeers and yells" are pretty damn good. It looks as though the Audio guys have been collecting zip files from the sounds of the show forum and have been implementing them into the game each iteration and this year's game is the cherry on top, now that I can hear the audio.

I agree i can hear a lot more crowd sounds like yells and whistles ect. now, that i could only just hear when i use headphones. But there is still one major issue imo and that is the default team chants, they are barely audible or just sound muffled. Nowhere near as good as the ones with sots show sound.
