Just got the game today and played a Jays Sox game at the Rogers Centre, in the 3rd inning I hit a bomb with Donaldson and as he was rounded the bases I heard the HR horn... don't think that's ever been in before

Does anyone know why you can't edit the face guard for hitters once they are created? Cuz I would like to put the face guard on players like Trout and Harper who are now wearing it this year

I think a little thing that was overlooked is adding a little bit of bass to the announcers voices. Anyone else think they sound a bit tinny?

Yes that was the first thing I noticed too the first time I played. Something just sounded off with the quality of it compared to last year.

I’m loving the lighting this year. The finger movement on the bat. The broadcast packages are fantastic. The colors on the jerseys. The reflections on the jersey lettering and such look amazing.

I know we were told about it prior to the launch of the game but the new interactions of the crowd are nice (drinking from cups and cell phones)

I don't want to label anyone, but I'm playing in Fenway right now and this lady behind home plate has taken a drink with every pitch (at least that I throw...can't see when batting) Lynn is currently at 40 pitches through 2 innings. If she has any type of adult beverage in that cup, she's going to be in a world of hurt later in the game at this pace...LOL

There isn't really a "complaint" thread. There is a bugs thread where you bring up unintended gaffs from the game itself (not really your complaints), and there is an impressions thread where you can offer up your thoughts on the game. I would say your statements fall into the impressions thread.

As far as a little thing, kind of cool but I played against the Cardinals for an entire weekend, and true to DeRosa's word they shifted against my hitters significantly less so than other teams (like the Mets) had. I can't even remember if they had shifted against me at all, to be honest.

I like how the players are animated with their reactions. Struck out Kris Bryant in a key moment and slung his bat 10 feet. Baez yelled at his and tossed it.

Almora Jr got on as the tying run and trying pump up his team.

A fictional draftee I gave one of those generic HR celebrations to was so cheesy I literally said "Brito please" when he was rounding the bases. It was ridiculous lol.

Catchers reacting to their pitchers. Make a nasty pitch and he's pumping his fist. Walk a guy and he's telling him to slow down and compose himself before tossing back the ball.

Makes the games feel much more alive on the field.
