Update: My Defensive Cannon RF got drafted by the Reds. Tebow disappeared from the Mets, and I started over again as V1.3 of the OSFM rosters also dropped last night. Again got drafted by the Reds (which is fine as my favorite player was Ken Griffey Jr), and again Tebow is missing from the Mets (maybe because he's a 30-year-old minor leaguer and the virtual Mets weren't going to keep him around).



So bottom line is, now I'm about to put my SP through the Showcase games, and I expect Tebow to disappear again, so I don't much care who drafts me now as I won't have the opportunity to hit him. Thank you virtual Mets for wisening up!

Wait version 1.3 dropped too? I thought it was just the opening day V1?

I made my LF a defensive cannon. I know it’s meant for RF, but I like the stat caps better. I still want to throw people out in LF. I had a RF last year and I noticed you get more defensive opportunities in LF, but that’s just me.

Isn't Tebow in A Ball on the OSFM rosters? Won't you have to put him on the AA squad if you want to see him in your RTTS games.

Last year it didn't matter. Besides he should technically be at AA anyway.

So I just joined the AA club and played like one game? Should I start over with the new version or is it not that big of a deal? I’m with the Astros so I really don’t want too since I remade my left fielder I stopped playing in 16. He was drafted #1 ovr by the Astros. So it’s kind of perfect that he got drafted by the team my guy played for.

Up to you. Considering he'll make several updates over the course of the season, there'll be a point where you'll need to start ignoring the new versions, or you'll be starting over so many times you'll go crazy. So depends on where that point is for you.

For example, if you're a LF in the Cubs organization (doubtful since you're a Cards fan), I'd keep going as this new update has Ian Happ in LF at 79 overall as their best, making it harder to get promoted to the Cubs if you should be drafted by them again.

At this point, I'd only start my OF over, if I wanted to switch back to LF.

I got drafted to the Astros and Fisher is the LF. (Top prospect) Either I get traded or one of us becomes a DH when we both reach the majors. Like I want to be on a winning team, but I don’t want to have to be in the minors forever. Lol.

I ran into Tebow on AA Rumble Ponies in my RTTS with March 18 OSFM rosters ported from 17 to 18

Being with the Astros lots of unknowns. If I do get to the Majors as a DH or LF I know it will be a lot of fun. I’ll start over though since the 1.3V is the most realistic. Then after I won’t start again. I’ve already restarted this save once.

Has anyone here been drafted by the end of round teams? Teams like the Sox, Indians, Astros, Yankees, DBacks etc?

I know everyone gets drafted in like the 23rd/24th round but no matter how many times I re-load the draft on both of my test saves I can't seem to go to any other teams besides the same 5-7

i have restarted tons of times and only get drafted by the white sox, reds, orioles, athletics, and the padres once. I really want to go to the stros but cant seem get it to happen. If not the astros i would like to go to the royals or padres but i cant get those. I understand not wanting to have the player be a high pick, but the good teams pick in the late rounds also.

So I play with TNK’s sliders right now. I’m struggling with my Defensive Cannon LF. IM batting .231 1 hr 6 RBI’s through 8 games. Hopefully I can improve. I guess it might have something to do with my guy who isn’t that great. Lol
