I'm pretty much a DD only player, I don't enjoy playing the cpu I prefer human opponents but I will grind conquest mode because you basically have to

Im a big fan of the card collecting so i play DD alot. Also play RTTS alot too. Used to play Franchise back in the days but like others, i lose interest quickly, games are too long even with quick pitch. Maybe I'll try a sim only version this year.

Mostly offline Franchise but a little RTTS too. I refuse to touch DD.

Played online franchise with my 3 buddies since MLB14. Great fun, different division each year competing for the playoffs, draft picks and free agents. Wont be the same not having that competitiveness. We always got 10+ seasons in.

Will go back to offline franchise. Even though it didnt get a ton of love this year, it will feel like a full fresh mode for me.

Prior to '17, 80% Franchise and 20% RTTS

Last year, 80% DD and 20% Franchise. I'm a franchise guy at heart, but the mode has gotten stale. If / once trade logic gets better and more stats are added, along with improved scouting and progression, I'll be back to mostly franchise. I'm not thinking that will be this year, sadly.

I looked at my time with 17 on my profile and it was oddly 33% for DD, Franchise, and RttS. Like others have said here, it seems like Franchise is somewhat stale. '17 was the first year since '14 that I took RttS really seriously because I was actually able to do some semblance of hitting and I was excited about the career decisions.

I'm excited for all 3 in '18: RttS, DD, and Franchise in that order.

100% offline, single player franchise. Me vs the CPU. And I play every pitch of all 162 games, most of the time.

The off the field aspects of the game as just as important to me as the on the field and....maybe they'll eventually give us more in this way, again.

BTW, some of you guys are saying that the game will tell you game time played and percentages. Is that actually something that's in the game, or something thats online? I've never noticed it in all the years I've been playing.

I'd say probably Franchise is what I play the most. I also enjoy playing the MLB Live games where I can play the real life match up going on at that time. I've never really played DD or RTTS. Maybe I'll look at those a little bit more this year.

In previous years before 17 i was 100% offline franchise. But with this last game i become almost 100% DD. It forced me to play with players i would have never drafted in my franchise as well as with more 3 inning games i could get through them faster which has become import now to having little kids.
