Feature I Would Love to have in MLB the Show 19
The MLB the Show Series is by far my favorite game series and there are very few things I would change. One of them is how rosters can be constructed in the offseasons for Franchise and RTTS. I would love to see non-roster invites be a part of MLB the Show 19. What do you guys think?Tags: None -

Online franchise hopefully will be back or I might not buy next years. That was a big let down for me this year.
Feature I do like that I would like to see added is updated rosters in franchise would be nice.

I'm sorry to be terse. But is it too early to think of things we'd like to see in MLB 22? There is still way too much in this year's game that needs to be addressed before we can give an honest assessment of what needs to be added in subsequent years.Comment

Probably. I was just brainstorming and wondering if that would be a decent idea long term. I enjoy thinking of realistic scenarios that could be put into a game and the idea of a non-roster invite could be cool to me.Comment

There’s obviously some kind of limitation involved with non-roster invitees or it would have been in years ago. What they should do to skirt the issue is allow us to add/remove players from the 40-man as much as we want during spring training.

Anything that adds to the realism of running a franchise would be welcome to me. Madden allows me to sign players in the off season and cut them with no penalty. It would be nice if the show allowed us beyond the 40 man roster and allowed them to be waived/released without penalty too. However, managing that smoothly on screen may be a challenge. If I manage one franchise it isn't an issue. managing 30 with a 40 man roster is a bear. I don't know how it is in 18 but I wished in 17 I had an easier way to view how many players of each position were on my 40 man before I get to spring training.Comment

Season mode back in. Also better 3 man booth and better atmosphere like in real baseball. Game is to fast. Gameplay needs to be slowed down . Let us have an option for slow and fast play.Comment

I hope they keep franchise mode in 19.I also hope they don't remove 9 inning games either. As for something new, I'd like to see Bunt Derby Mode, right alongside Home Run Derby. Bunt Derby is where you see how many bunts you can rocket out of the infield.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Was seething about this the other day. Think about it - if the games are too long or too boring for you, you can:
- Play fastplay
- Play hybrid
- Use quick counts
- Disable batter walk-up
- Choose “faster” for pitcher delivery
- Play 3-inning games
- Fast forward option
That’s SEVEN options they manually introduced to make the game faster, then ON TOP OF THIS they cut broadcast content EVEN FURTHER by auto-skipping a ton of it. No choice, no option, just “nobody likes it when the catcher throws the ball back, ditch it.”
Not only have they already catered to the short-on-time (or short-on-attention-span) seven times over, but they’ve completely ignored people who, you know, actually liked the real-time presentation.Just one man’s opinion.

I would love for rosters in franchise to update ratings maybe on a weekly or atleast monthly basis with real life performance. I believe either nhl 18 or nba live and 2k18 do thisComment

A simplified franchise option.
1) no CPU interference if you want to trade you can and it will always be accepted.
2) a choice of how many teams you want to run for the season you can choose 16 teams.
3) in this mode you can choose an era 1920s 1930s 1940s 1950s and 1960s. The fans would dress appropriately for the time you choose.
For instance if you choose 1950s the men would be wearing suits and hat the ball players would be wearing baggy uniforms with 1950s equipment.
4) synthesized audio for the names that are not on the list. Or the ability to take part of any two names and splice sections together for the audio name.
5) add legendary managers to this mode and the ability to create managers. I like it"a mean motor scooter and a bad go getter"

I would like to have an option in franchise to be able to turn off all interference from the CPU no Trading no up and down movement if I decide to trade I can.
I started my legendary franchise this year the CPU took six of my major created legendary players on the Boston Red Sox put them in the AAA and brought modern-day players in and put waivers on them.
Tired of chasing my tail guys. How much effort would it take to offer a franchise that would be kind to roster builders? Just an option to open it up. On a happier note I really love the legends that are offered this year the Renditions are excellent especially Babe Ruth so much personality keep up the good work.
