I am tired of all these roster restrictions!

This is getting ridiculous man all these mistakes on players this year. I already half to play with Mike Fiers service time all screwd up because I'm using the default roster and SCEA fix it right in last roster update but I'm not using that roster, now I find out Brian Anderson on default roster has 0.00 service time and he played in 25 games last year.

Either they need to fix these changes and apply them across the board in a patch so they go onto any roster or allow us to export and import real MLB players so we can grab them off the roster updates and put them on whatever roster we want.

I am so sick and tired of being restrained with what we can edit. So many players have wrong service time and height and weights are off on a lot players based off the default roster and I cant fix any of them because SCEA decided to restrict us from editing any of that. I even came across a handful of players who's location is wrong.

I am all about realism and accuracy and it's time that these restrictions are removed. We pay 60 bucks for this game every year we should be able to edit anything we want offline at least.

I would hope that they find away to let us import players into franchise. Even with the community based rosters there are always players that are brought up that aren't included in those rosters. I don't mind creating a player, but I would rather use a player who is created by one of the community members who are really good with the faces.

If you have roster control on for franchise, you can just export a player out of it (once they acquire the service time they need) and into your roster

They are real players with wrong service time. Sure I can make a franchise and get service time right on created type players who were once on the game previously etc. But you can not export a real SCEA player out of franchise once u got the correct service he needs.

I know a thing or 2 about rosters for this game not a rookie or new to this game. I have made over 150 veteran players with correct service time and teams they played for.

        https://forums.operationsports.com/f...er-update.html

This is not the gripe or issue, its when SCEA adds players back to the game with wrong service time leaving us to half to try and fix those and "real players" already on the game with certain amount of games played but 0.00 service time. Look at Brian Anderson on the default roster, they fixed his service time in the roster updates but its still a little off, but I am using my own roster based off default and cant get the changes made or fixes to most of these players.

You half to use the roster update to get the changes and they have already have removed about 60 + players since launch form the game doing there weekly roster updates to make room. So if u use the roster update that's that many more players u half to remake and its way to much work.

I always use the default roster before they start taking off all these players during the year, the problem is noway to fix height & weights, service time or there location when there a little off. We should be allowed to edit this stuff. Same goes with the helmet types we should be allowed to pick and choose this stuff not have it locked.

I understand your frustration and like you I'm also frustrated. They need to allow us to have freedom with our rosters or have a choice people could either be restricted or have total control of the rosters period for me that would mean I would have access to all the legends that they made it seems like the people that don't want the Legends are the ones that are getting them what's with that? I transfer my created players legendary players to the next year's game (2017 to 2018) of course the players were in the middle of a season so that meant I couldn't have access to the new legendary players.
In other words guys like me who would appreciate the legends who work on Legends themselves don't have access to them.
This year they made the best Babe Ruth better than anything I ever made but I can't have him on my franchise. They even call him the Bambino
Enough ranting on a positive note this is an unbelievable baseball game and getting better every year thanks guys

what is really annoying the most is. if you have already started a franchise realiase oh crap my roster doesn't have Brett Anderson in it to use.

How many times do I have to say it we need a import player option for franchise but I am beating a dead horse and it will never happen.

I wish we could edit service time. that annoying Rookie Icon for veterans is irritating.

if we could edit age also (along w/service time) I'd like to take the rosters and turn back the clock about 4-5 yrs.

Lets face it they will never let us do that for 1 simple reason. with a accurate roster there would be no need to buy MLB show 19 for some people

some people will stay in 17 but seeing Judge going for rookie of the year with Torress would annoy the crap out of me,

if it was unlimited edited they would lose sales.

The following would put a smile on my face :
Open up franchise and season to roster control options so you can build as you go.
I hope this year they open it up so everybody can enjoy the new Legends offered if they just put them in free agents .
Give us player movement "Create a Player, Edit a Player and Inport a Player"in Franchise.Make it an option.

The worst roster issue that exists is the postseason roster problem. As I have for the last 10 years... I hope they fix it this year.

Don't restrict anyone from carrying over their created players to the next game like the people that Had created players in season couldn't Port them to the new game in 2018.
Shouldn't matter if your created players are in Franchise Season or Roster allow the flexibility to Port them to the next year's game and once they are ported to new game you can choose Franchise Season Roster

18 is the best baseball game I've ever played. Arguably the best sports game period.

Service time will be a deal breaker for me going forward. I don't need to buy another baseball game. I'll spend the countless hours it takes to populate the data for my retro rosters. It will be painful, no doubt. Geekery at the highest level. But I'll do it. Because that is the only way to get the experience I'm looking for.

Or, SDS can give me what I want and keep taking my $60.. h@ll.. I'd pay $160 for this. $360!..
