I don't have the time or patience for that. It's bad enough as is.
I guess that's part of the fun for me, defensive strategy. I prefer to do it myself. But i can understand why many people wouldn't want to. But, it doesn't add much time to my games. I already know where the they are playing, so i don't have to check every time. I just move them when the situation calls for it.

It does for me because I don't play enough to know how the AI thinks and to override it. It's not like when I'm hitting and I can see the defense. When I'm pitching I can't see the defense unless I go into the defensive positioning menu.

If manual shifts are on, you would already know where everyone is if you haven't changed it.

It also only takes a split second to check your defense by pushing down on the D-pad. Or even when you push pause, it tells you on the upper right corner.

I have it on auto shifts. Of course I always have the ability to override. I'm just ticked off that I didn't think about guarding the lines there in that situation. If I had, well, I would have definitely made sure that was the case. I need a bench coach!!!

I would strongly suggest switching to manual if you dont like checking every time, and since you dont like the defensive AI anyway.

AI shifts are not too smart, are many times counter-productive, and aren't even the correct shift many times. Besides, thinking of defensive strategy adds a whole level of immersion to the game.

Can I just hire you to be my bench coach and set my defense for me?

For sure. My only demands are a bag of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups (preferably the Easter ones) and two Dr Peppers per game. Except Sunday games i want chips and salsa. PM me the contract.

good hire. I can vouch for him that he didnt drink on the job last Wednesday & Friday, nor did he beat his wife for all of July.

Thank you. Lol. It was a tough month but i made it. Actually, she has too good of a defense if i were to ever even think about it. Its called the old upper-arm pinch and twist maneuver. I swear i would rather get beaten up by Demetrious Johnson, twice, than suffer through one of her pinches. How in the world can someone need help opening jars, yet generate so much torque that it makes me float out of my chair in pain??

If MMA will ever answer my emails, and change their rules regarding pinching, i will never never have to work another day in my life.

Still needs work maybe MLB 19. Was looking forward to ratings affecting the path and speed to the ball as mentioned on the Twitch stream.

Unfortunately after many full games played! Still seeing same results!
