It's been published ad nauseum that stream info and new features aren't announced until February. Yet some people insist since we haven't heard any news that this year's game is going to be a letdown. It's baseless.

Judging by the lack of info and no live streams, it's fair to speculate this years game had a garbage budget and is worth skipping.

Sales from 18 seem on par with 14-17, I'd expect the same budget as usual

If people don't frequent the boards/forums they may not be aware. I responded to his post and let him know this is how they do things these days, he acknowledged and we've moved on.

Again, not everyone is regularly on here to see when things like that get "published".



I admittedly didn't know the annual schedule...I was going on feel...and was wrong. No "insistence" on my part at all. I'm happy to learn that the streams and info are right on schedule.



Really hope they give some compelling reasons to buy this year. I didn't get many hours out of last years game.

I'm likely skipping the game this year since PYS 2019 comes out in April. The game play is light years beyond The Show. With SCEA focused so much on DD, it's probably time for me to move on.

I am not even close to happy about a lot of things in MLB The Show 18 and with every new version I get pissed off seeing some features and enhancements that I have been asking for for over 10 freaking years still not added to the game. But I will NEVER EVER skip a year as MLB The Show even with all it's flaws is still by far the BEST MLB video game you can buy and for just $60 you get a whole year of wonderful baseball gaming! 99% of my gaming time is with MLB The Show and has been since I started with MLB The Show 07 on PS3.

If not for MLB The Show I probably would not even own a game console at this point in my life! This one game is the reason I have owned PS3,PS4,PS4Pro and someday Hopefully PS5!

I started playing baseball games way back in the 80's and pretty much have played them all. And it's really hard to complain about MLB The Show 18 when you see how far we have come

And even though I am sure MLB The Show 19 will once again not include many of the features and enhancements that I dream of it having I am still really looking forward to it like I do year after year!

If they actually made a good game no one would complain, but they haven't recently and its about damn time people voice concerns instead of the same old SDS can do no wrong crap
