What I am saying is the Griffey motions were better pre 18 for some reason :/
Need to be redone with more intent.. there is not the same fire as when he was in the heat of the moment.

Come to think of it. Why were all of the Mike Piazza walk up/step in/step out rituals taken out of the game once he was included as a legend? Anyone else notice this? All that is there now is the low bat motion once you press the button pre pitch. Where is the rest?
Look back at MLB 2017 legend stance #32 in game.. You will see his real walk up and so forth.

Same with Albert Pujols and he is not even a legend yet. Alex Rodriguez was stripped of the sig stuff too.. has been since 2015 I believe :/

Sony san Diego is so concerned with gameplay elements that they are forgetting these guys gotta animate true to life and go through their individual at bat process. We are not just looking for a batter to get up to the plate and hit... they have to walk up settle in like reality and that is what this moving up in technology PS3 to PS4 is partly about: No?

Progression of lifelike animations and not just rushing the process

The batter and pitcher uniqueness is very important.

I have been on here since day one with this series back when animation director Chris was still attending the boards. i realize they don't anymore so if i don't speak up a bit then what happens? Madden 20?

I am being very serious about this. In fact I hate to say this but I hope EA brings back MVP quickly so Sony will reevaluate every aspect of their game and not just Diamond Dynasty.

TWO things

1) Realistic/signature player animations for every single starting batter/pitcher. Not just the team celebrations. Baseball has a very lonely way with being on your own at the plate and keeping calm(nervous ticks that add to the illusion of realism ie: JD Martinez kissing his fingers).

2)Season mode and offline franchise (I do not play online at all)

There is a bit more to games than just gameplay... a lot goes into bringing this alive and making it as close to reality as possible. You are on the wrong game system if you think otherwise my friend.
