I wonder if Junior went in to get his swing mo-capped when he was the cover pick.

I think the majority of us have felt for years that we wish the pitching motions had more of a SNAP to the follow through, and maybe swings also need to be a little more aggressive.

But after it being requested for so many years...I don't see it happening. At least not until PS5.

He had a unique batting stance with feet open but upper body closed and chin on the shoulder.

I never saw Jr play in person but I did see his Dad play with the big red machine.

My pitchers motions do have a snap. Its just that the snap is his neck as another ball is hit into the stratosphere

Uh, I'm trying to prove a point that personalized animations need to be overhauled and made more of a priority for future titles. There was also no excuse to remove signature stuff that was better from years past... and for the record Countrybumpkin I didn't know people cared on here. Though, would appreciate if you refrain from making pointless comments on my threads from now on. In fact most users on this board as of late seem pretty daft.. so I figured an alternate more fulfilling option: Converse with self and hope Sony reads my post

Yeah, at bat and pitching animations to more radically differentiate players just doesn't seem to be so important to Sony San Diego Studio anymore. The thing is, it use to be way back when this series was first starting out back on PS2 especially.

I guess with PS5.. maybe right off the bat they'll get to signature stuff big time. That is, right after the new graphic engine and player models are in place/unveiled.
              I would hope at least.

And OS belongs to the people posting and reading.. without us who are they?

BTW, glad I could entertain some people on here

                Now back to animation talk
