I will say this though. Playing the game on default sliders (I did change the injury to 10 to see if they fixed the in-game injuries issue that popped up in 18) I thought the game played great. Manager hook might need to be tweaked some since Dylan Bundy got pulled at about 80 pitches in 4 and 2/3 innings. Overall though for a first game I though it was great.

I don't have the game yet - been to busy rehabbing a house but that should be finished soon.

I'm curious what sideboard you are talking about. In 18 you can reduce the time between pitches by putting the game on fast play and setting the countdown clock to zero. Does that get rid of the sideboard - and does the sideboard go away on its own or do you have to click a button prior to every pitch?

The reason I'm curious about the sideboard is because at one time manage mode had an automatic countdown which you could only get rid of by pressing a button which required pressing a button before every pitch - very annoying. The finally fixed it with an option to turn the countdown to zero. I'm wondering if that made its way back into the game somehow.

Are you highlighting and selecting the PLAY BALL option with "X", or are you pressing CIRCLE to leave and Play Ball?

Is the manager menu staying up on screen until you go back into pitcher actions and choose Bullpen? Or does the menu go away and then you need to PAUSE and go to bullpen?

some more info i have both cameras in manager settings on broadcast. i also have it on fast mode as well. okay it just happened. spring training dodgers vs cubs buehler vs darvish. im gonna play more to see if it continues. im using bullpen fix to continue game. and yes im hitting X to play ball. while i was texting 6 seconds were up i didnt hit anything and it froze again.

We have not been able to reproduce any issues with the menus yet.

manager menu is fine click play ball it goes to game screen but pitcher will not throw the ball. mine is frozen right now.

Also, I don’t have anything to do with the gameplay in manager mode (or any other mode) so if there are issues with it, please email us or send us a bug report on theshownation.

If you happen to bump into a gameplay dev there was a minor bug in mlbts 18 manage mode - if the AI defense expected a bunt the user controlled batter would not swing away. He would just stand there taking pitches if the user didn't order him to bunt.

I don't own 19 yet and I did submit a bug report but this mode has a history of having problems which don't get fixed.

No - a gameplay dev named Brian posted that information a few years ago on this forum. In manage mode difficulty doesn't matter.

So it looks to me like if you just use the buttons the way you have in the past and basically ignore the menu there is no freezing issue. That is the way I played it the last two days and I have seen no issues.

Is their any possible way to shrink the size of the menu between each pitch? It takes up half the entire screen. Kill immersion for me. I like as less menus as possible and this is just huge
