I would but it takes up HALF the screen. Huge eye sore. Why I appreciate them trying to make improvements this is one that was a horrible decision. If you want to give more stars or options awesome! But just have us press a button during gameplay to access it instead of having to see it every pitch. Completely ruins this mode for me. Not saying others won’t like it I’m only speaking for myself

I imported my Braves franchise from 18 (which was imported from 17) and have been using NOMO's sliders from that. I'm only about 7 games in but so far it seems pretty close. In terms of statistical accuracy I have played EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. since I started the franchise and the stats have been as close as I could hope for.

Are you using Nomo's sliders from 2017 or 2018 ?

I'm using his latest version from 18 now, and for most of the time while playing 18. I don't mean to say they are perfect, but it's been more than acceptable for me, mainly because they are comparable to the majority of the sim stats from the cpu teams. I wouldn't be happy I had 4 guys hit 50 bombs while everyone else in the league couldn't crack 30, for example.

MoM is a good gaming mode. It's not that I left MoM because I did not like MoM games. No I just found RTTS more engaging. But I am not your typical RTTS player who plays only their batting and fielding appearances. I play full RTTS games when I can where every player bats, not just me. Where every player fields, not just me, etc, etc. Of course I am at the mercy of the virtual manager as to when I get to start games or when I get pulled. So it has it's flaws. If MoM was allowed in "Play Now" exhibition games, I would like to play more MoM games. I just can't commit to a Franchise. It's too much. I want to play Baseball games. I don't care who's contract needs to be renewed and all that other stuff.

Bunting does not work in MoM this year. ALL bunts are either popped up to 1b or hit hard to the firstbaseman for a force out on the runner at 2b, regardless of batter's bunt skill. I even saw one bunt popped up so hard the firstbaseman had to take a step backwards to field it. I have reported this to SDS.

I haven't had a bunting situation yet, but tomorrow ill do some tests and see.

This was with default sliders. To be honest, I have no idea if sliders even matter in MoM, but......

For the heck of it, and out of frustration, I slid all the batting sliders to 0. I was then able to get a batter, Billy Hamilton, to lay down a perfect drag bunt. I have a feeling the power slider has some affect on bunting even though it shouldn't. I'll test some more on Sunday.

Are the batters pulling the ball more this yr or are there still too many opposite field hits/outs?
That was my main gripe with the cpu batters in 18.

Ive played 5 games so far, and am seeing a great variety of hits like in 18. If youve watched a lot of mlb games like I do each year, oppo hits happen more then you think. 18, I didnt think the oppo hits where over done. Just my .02.

After further testing, I have seen a couple successful bunts (popups that the fielder just barely missed), but even 99 rated bunters tend to popup a huge majority of the time. I've also seen rocket line drives to the firstbaseman and hard hit groundballs. I know all of the hard hit ground balls are a lot harder than swinging bunts.

I have adjusted sliders to minimum, maximum, and default and there is no change. I even went as far as to change every player in the lineup to 99 rated bunters. No difference. So, the only answer I have for the problem is the developers fix it somehow, but I don't know if they can.

I realize bunting is not a big part of baseball anymore, but my thinking is that instead of creating AI bunt cheat, just give everyone low ratings. There is no reason a player with a rating over 80 or so should never be able to pull off a successful bunt. Those players have great bat control in those situations.

In MoM, or even franchise with players actually playing the game, I would guess most players don't spam bunt. It wouldn't make any sense since it's really not easy to do against the AI anyway, even in previous versions. Besides, there are not very many batters in the game who can bunt and if players are controlling the batter or they arent, they won't do a very good job of it either. So I don't see why the bunt penalty for on-line players should be applied to franchise players. It really hurts when a pitcher becomes an automatic out without any benefit. I guess the only other option is to see if one can set the NL as a DH league.

Having not played The Show for a few years I got it this year for MoM and after 5 games I have a 100% thumbs up.

too Bad NBA2K can do a MoM or I would buy that game again.

Thank you for the input. I really did think The Show 18 was a little overdone with the opposite field hits. Most batters are very pull heavy so this is something I am really conscious of with the cpu batters.... grew up watching Gary Sheffield and Ken Griffey Jr lol.

Bunts work fine and do as intended. Very realistic. Now I over bunted just to test, but I had no problems bunting. Got some good ones down, had a few foul off, had a few pop up, and got some fielded good for outs. All legit in my opinion.

Playing all default if I havent mentioned.
