I don't use Nomos only because his is based off CPU vs CPU which plays different then manage mode. Nomos are to try and exact real life sim which they will never over 162 games. They are great for CPU and Nomo has tons of knowledge and I am by no means knocking what he does. Also, his requires to many adjustment throughout the season. Default plays fine for me. I may make slight tweaks here and there, but I never stray far from default. Nor do I want to constantly adjust sliders. Therefore, if I do +/- a slider, it's a set and forget.

I'm 20 games in to my manage mode franchise rebuild and other than no in game injuries, I think the game plays amazing on the field without touching one slider.

I completely agree with you. This game out of the box this year is AMAZING!

Ok, once, it happens. Twice, possible. Three times though..... I "schedule pitcher" to pitch, and I go through at least 3 pitchers and the lineup (opp team) to get out of the inning.

If I "bring pitcher in", I have no issues and the outing is what it is but never anything crazy like that.

Anyone else "Schedule Pitchers" and seen this?

Are you saying when you schedule a pitcher to come in, he gets bombed, but when you just bring in a new pitcher, he pitches well?

Yes, 3x (3 different games) now when I schedule a pitcher to come in in the middle innings, he and the next 3 pitchers I have to bring in to try and get out of the inning (40+ pitches) struggle. If I just go in and say bring in, things play normal.

Like I said, if it happened here and there, I could live with it, but 3 straight times doing it in 3 different games, its not just gameplay.

Wow I've not seen that at all on my end like you're describing it.

Its crazy, and funny thing is, in one game, it was a great pitchers duel till that.

I know the Indians have a struggling bullpen as it is, but thats beyond belief. Just crazy.

I didn't have the game when Adam asked this question and it is always good to hear from developers.

Full disclosure I set the countdown clock to zero and use fast play because I play full games and sim nothing so I do that in order to speed up games. Therefore I don't spend much time looking at menus.

The thing I like about the menu prior to each pitch is it now shows contact/power vs pitcher handedness for the current batter. Previously it showed overall contact/power for the current batter. That is a major improvement. In the pause menu it shows detailed previous at bats for the current batter. That also is a major improvement.

If the current batter display in the pause menu was added to the pre-pitch menu that would be fantastic because it displays a more detailed current game scorecard information for the current batter.

Overall I like the new menus both pre-pitch and pause menu. Thanks for the attention given to manage mode.

Please fix the overlay that takes up half the green between each pitch. PLEASE!!!!!! I love this mode and just can’t llay it like this

By overlay, I assume you mean the entire new menu system. That’s the new design I was speaking of and there is no way to “fix” it. Everything is now contained in one easy to use menu for offense and defense. Sorry you don’t like it, hopefully you adjust and grow to in the future

It literally stays on until you press o. Not that big of a deal. Its not like it stays there. Provides allot of good info. If they want to fix something then do this

I gotta say, I don't know why anyone would want a rain delay. Most annoying thing to have to deal with in baseball is a rain delay.

I asked a programmer to look into the manager mode injury issue. We will find out if they are indeed turned off, and why. Perhaps it is something we can patch in later.

The spring training substitution issue is also known and assigned to a programmer. We are focusing on fixing major issues first, before we look into adjusting minor things in a future patch.

No idea on rain delays, first I’ve ever heard of it.
