It's seems like people around here like to jump down your throat as soon as you have the Gaul to not like something SDS does.

You can call my posts negative, you can say "you have been done three times already this year", or whatever clever anecdote you feel will get you the most likes in regards to my post. It doesn't discount the fact that the game was better before the patch and that this patch was HEAVILY influenced by the shownation crowd which is the absolute last group of people SDS should be listening to when it comes to producing a realistic baseball experience.

Misspellings and poor capitalization aside, you take yourself way too seriously.

For me I went ahead and installed the patch. Outside of the frame rate, and maybe more fly balls and less line drives I can't tell a difference.

So after this patch is it reasonable to put solid hits back to default or leave at 4?

I left my sliders alone for the time being because the patch feels different but in a good way that doesn’t need tweaking just yet.

But if you feel a difference in hitting I’d suggest bumping the Human Timing slider up a notch before you adjust Solid Hits. Without testing, I’d assume the patch primarily adjusting the timing window means altering the timing slider will best replicate pre-patch gameplay.

I’ve left my sliders alone too. The game feels great to me at the moment. Making solid contact and driving a ball into the gap or over an outfielder’s head is even more satisfying now. Home runs are down slightly for me and the CPU but I’m not pressing any panic button yet. They’ll come back. I went through HR droughts pre-patch too.

Game is playing like butter for me post patch. Which in my history of playing the game.....has been consistent. SDS patches have always been positive for offline players gameplay.

In fact the hitting variety is even better. No doubt. And the game is running even smoother. They cleaned up some choppy animations and such.

Loving it.

Yes...that is always my preference. Game pops color wise and frame rate performance is top notch.

I’ve got to admit I was a little worried with this patch. I played a couple conquest games before work yesterday and every hit was a lazy fly ball. Played some more last night and was pleased to see hitting was as good as always.

This pretty much says everything about how I feel about it. I was already enjoying playing across 2 RTTS saves and am enjoying even more now.

I am with you and feel your pain & frustration! Unfortunately this is not a patch problem its a missing core fundamental programming of a Baseball Game problem! But those animations look Buttery Smooth though
