Someone see's the new feature, and decides to buy the game. Is that not making money off a feature? What am I not understanding? Why is it as if only money from in game transactions matter? What about sales?

Re: MLB 20 The Show Wishlist!
I guess Sony has found these sales are minimum, at best. A new feature cant just make a dollar, it has to take MANY dollars to justify the developers very limited cycle time. More bang for their buck, if you will. And with microtransactions, Sony has their finger on the very heartbeat of how much money is being pumped through those particular veins.Comment

Re: MLB 20 The Show Wishlist!
Not arguing with you here bud, just saying to that logic, how is selling a copy of the game that wouldn't have been sold otherwise not making a dollar? Each copy is $60 right. Multiplied by hundreds or thousands? Go on YouTube and look at sports game series showing Expansion Modes and Created Teams if you think there arent hundreds of thousands of people interested in playing these modes in sports games. They added Griffey. They added 'Retro Mode'. It's not even debatable which mode is more popular or would sell more copies. Someone needs to roll up their sleeves and do the work, plain and simple.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: MLB 20 The Show Wishlist!
First of all let me state that I’m 50 years young and strictly play offline.
It means I’m a dying breed, but I’m aware of it so at least no longer in denial.
I’m not the one they have in mind when developing their game, but here we go anyway.
- More true to life adds / addboards in the stadiums. Make fake one’s that look like real brands (I know not easy due to licenses / copyright). At least make them in the colors of the real ones
- Better frame rate….please. It become worse going from ’18 to ’19 so please improve
- More classic stadiums, so much better for the immersion when playing with classic rosters
- Easier / better roster creation. I’m not a creator myself but am following the thread and read that SDS do not make it easy.
- More stadium sounds / music. It was a good improvement already this year, please keep adding to it. I know there is Sounds of the Show, but some more organ music in the stadiums would be great
- Remove or improve Heidi…..please!
- More classic jerseys
- Keep improving on commentary
- More cams. I liked the medium fielding cam from ’18 which was removed for ’19.
- Being able to change the name and face of the manager when playing with classic rosters
- More exterior shots from the ballparks. In general more shots between innings. This was already improved in ’19 but more can be done
- Same for “emotion” scenes, keep adding to them…and please only trigger them at appropriate moments. Now sometimes a single is hit in the 2nd inning, and the player reacts as if he just hit a walkoff, and sometimes it’s the other way round.
- More emotion during playoffs. Again it’s improved in ’19 but there’s work to do here
- Bring back season mode for those who want it. I was angry at first but now I just play 1 season of franchise. I don’t mind playing all the games or simming some of them.
- More equipment brands
- Editable score bugs. Would be great if we could create a custom logo, this way we could create the old broadcast companies when playing with classic rosters
- Keep improving the gameplay…which they already do year by year
- Being able to get ejected from the game. MVP 05 had some kind of meter that you could fill which was great as it allowed you to scream at the ump 😊
I can probably think of a lot more, but that’s it for now.Comment

Unless I’m misunderstanding this is already in the game.
Just press the SHARE button on the controller and then press TRIANGLE and it will snap a screenshot of whatever is on the screen

I mean more like the way Madden does it. Screenshots are taken within franchise and those screenshots appear on loading screens, main menu, background of franchise menu, etc.Comment

Re: MLB 20 The Show Wishlist!
Agree offer a turn numbers off option.
I know the legend they offer Rogers Hornsby has no number and blank jersey no zero on his jersey.
Please guys fix the problem with numbers staying put for the 2020 Show.
Offer Basic Helmet no flaps again.
