When looking at the RTTS snippits, the in game challenges had a different look in that if you get a hit it will increase both your Contact vs LHP AND RHP. This is really promising because as it is right now, you face 90% RHP and it is very difficult to increase your Vs LHP stats.

With Franchise Rebranding my two biggest ideas if moving the Rays/Marlins to a city with an actual fanbase and add some throwback jerseys or create our own idea of alternates to our current team, assuming you can just keep the city/name the same.

Curious about how the stadiums would work only because if for example in DD you create your logo but play at Petco Park, you have your DD team logos down the baselines, but still also have the Padres logo behind home plate. If you try rebranding and end up playing in current MLB stadiums that could really dampen the immersion.

As a DD player as well, the new mode is intriguing.

Yeah they dropped the ball regarding LHP skill progression in RTTS. It would be nice to see them handle it different than how it works in MLB 19.

Rebranding/Relocation!!! So pumped for this! It’s been number one on my wishlist for a decade, honestly never thought they would add it.

Can’t wait to see what it’s actually like!

If rebranding works the same way it does in NBA 2K, then that means everything can be changed. Team names, Colors, Uniforms, Logos, Locations etc...... Hopefully a stadium creator has been added. If not then hopefully they added a bunch of fictional modern/futuristic stadiums to choose from.

Guess we have to wait a few weeks to see how it will all work. Definitely a step in the right direction for franchise users.

I would be surprised if Create a Stadium has been added this year, especially with it not mentioned in the stream schedule.

My guess on the rebranding is that they took the team creator, uniform editor and logo creator from DD and added it to franchise mode.

But the stream schedule does say location, so hopefully a stadium creator is an easter egg or like I said it could be something similar to Madden with a selection of new modern/futuristic stadiums. Makes no sense to be able to change a team's location and not have something like that in.

Can't move Tropicana field to Montreal.

I agree. So the only question is will it be structured like Madden's version, or like NBA 2K's version.

This. Huge difference between the two. Let's hope it's like NBA2K's. Madden's relocation leaves a lot to be desired.

Can't edit previous post, but in regard to stadiums, what if they awarded stubs for franchise goals/achievements and you could use them to purchase stadiums already in DD? Obviously, you could purchase stubs, just like in DD, thus providing them a way to monetize the mode a bit. Probably way off the deep end; just thinking out loud.

Fingers crossed that we have the customization of NBA2K. Would be awesome to relocate, rebrand, rename, and realign teams/divisions. [emoji846]

All I said was that I would be surprised if it was in and not mentioned.

I didn’t say anything to negate the possibility that other stadiums were in for relocation.

I wasn’t trying to kill the dream or hope just sharing my opinion on the possibility of the inclusion of create a stadium

Hopefully it is in for those who want it

How will announcers handle it if someone renames the Seattle Mariners the Seattle Pilots if Pilots is not in the name data base? I'm having a feeling that all the team names MAY be preselected for us and we'll have to choose from those.

Hope we'll have a full A playable level. But if so, they'll need another 15 players buffer at a rookie level to compensate the domino effect of injuries at higher levels.

Thing is, the 15 player buffer is often not enough. I run into issues all the time with it, particularly when it comes to injuries.

My "shoot for the moon" is simmable single A so players produce stats, and the "full minor" system is just roster spots. I doubt there are very many who have any desire to play below single A.

Really though I hope it's just more roster spots. That could really help me in my carry over's upcoming offseason.

They would have to have updated audio. Whether pre-selected or not. Lets hope that was done in this case.

I really think full minor leagues is a playable Single A team. 25 man roster. 100-104 man rosters for the 4 levels.

Everyone's Hope's for high A, low A, AFL I think is a bit much.

That would need to include a revamped draft with way more rounds. Which is another thing that needs to be reworked anyway.

The game (19 I mean) already contains a decent-sized team name audio database. I believe the entire list of names available for use in DD would be able to be used in this franchise re-location thing they're promoting. If you want to go through them, enter DD and go to "customize team/team details, uniforms, and logo" (and if it's your first time in there you'll probably be hit with that screen right away anyway).

It probably wouldn't flow from city to team name smoothly like the MLB/MiLB audio lines would, but it would at least be saying the name.

"Pilots" is one of those in the database btw. So is "Expos".
