If they are actual minor leaguers(Im slightly skeptical still), I see it just being a scan of their Roster pic with accurate height, weight, handedness and such.

In terms of equipment and stances and windups I have no idea how that would work. Even with MLB players SCEA struggles with equipment (brands and colors).

And I have a hard time imagining SCEA will go through watching tape of every minor leaguer and picking which stances looks best for them.

Because of this, I still see an OSFM aspect coming into play here. However they’ll all be SCEA based player which will save them from doing the faces and importing and exporting the whole minor leagues. Tell just be updating stances, equipment and such to upload into the vault.

This is huge for carry over saves as like others I couldn’t have a top prospect be OSFM knowing there’s going to be an SCEA accurate model and facescan in next years game.

Other games have had this for years. The mechanism for it doesn't have to be built into the game, it could also be done online and then the results are downloaded into the game (this is how Big Ant does it with Cricket 19).



I've wanted this for years because I never truly feel like a player is in the game unless their true bespoke likeness is in the game. That said, I doubt they'll implement this. Would love to be wrong though. I love The Show, but the CAP faces just don't look very good. They'd be better off going with maybe 50 to 100 generic/anonymous face scans that you can only edit in limited ways than the current "play-doh" faces.

Franchise implications of having full minors for the actual game.... they would be able to implement a system like Madden has where you can choose a starting week for your franchise with accurate stats, records, transactions, injuries, call-ups and send-downs, etc. All of the players would be in the shipped roster. Before I didn't see a way they would be able to implement a system where this could be realistic. The inclusion makes it one of my top wish list items moving forward.

I was browsing through the pages and was surprised nobody mentioned this at all. With the inclusion of full minor names (assumption) I wonder if that means a re-rate for minor league players as well to match player likeness. That could also have a huge impact on player progression when playing long term franchises. A domino effect of that could also be the ratings of drafted players in our franchise to make sure the league does not get watered down. Now I am not anticipating that by any means, but I am somewhat curious if the generated draft players are being reworked or scouting in general. I guess we will see.

I am wondering what impact full minors if they are real players will have in dymond dynasty. Will some of the top prospects get in game cards from the start and be highly targeted as cards to aquire hopeing that they get a great overall jump in roster updates. Or will we have to wait for them to make the majors to get a DD card. It could have a great impact on the simond dynasty card market.

Or they could just throw them all in DD to promote more stub spending instead of 12 different versions of each legend.

Legends would just have 1 signature, the rest would be minor leaguers and major leaguers

Unless there's a face scan, I think they will be editable. Now, I didn't have last year's game, but I know in 18, they had major league guys, with service time, who didn't have their real faces in the game. Their faces were editable. As a Reds fan, I remember Amir Garrett being one of them.

Yes that is when they update a roster with service time guys that are added they can be edited. but not on the default roster. so maybe the minor guys would be editable fi they just treated as though they were CAPs.

but for about 3 years people were complaining about Lindor not having a face scan. and you couldn't edit him.

There has not been a confirmation of it but I personally feel that they will be in. Why say "full minor league rosters" if they really just meant expanded roster spots for Single A or lower etc. I, like many others would be happy with extra roster spots but would prefer the actual players being added. Of course if not we still have Ridins roster.
