I understand that. Just for fun I started a franchise with an East coast team and played a game in a West coast ballpark - Oakland. The time on the scoreboard indicated I was in the Eastern time zone.

Just a guess - could be wrong - but I think whatever team you choose to relocate is the time zone and weather you will still have regardless of where you relocate to. The fun part will be the ability to have your own creation on the field.

People are always going to complain. If they have indeed added 100 minor league teams I can only imagine how many complaints there will be about the logos not being exactly correct.

Im gonna disagree with you here. Just because that happened has no correlation to weather and time with a rebranded team in 20 because relocation hasnt been in a game yet.

If anything, I think it shows that weather and time will be based off of whatever city the home team is from. Regardless, this 100% does show that you have to be careful about what stadium you choose (ex. You cant move a team to Colorado and choose Yankee Stadium and expect normal power hitting stats).

How many fielders do you know change their glove based on the color of their uniform that day?

there are players that have home/away gloves much like cleats/batting gloves/arm bands etc...

but that's not the point...the point is that MLBTS franchise is a money machine yet they neglect to fix simple things like color and gear. All the money from DD goes where...?...corny commercials? I appreciate the dev streams because they finally give us as a community the ability to SEE what goes on...but when questions are posed that don't fit the narrative of what they are doing they go unanswered or default to the 'style guide'...just ONCE I want one of these nerds to explain to me why it's so hard to change the aesthetics or why there are certain slots for cleats/gloves/bats etc. Like why are we restricted to X amount? Just once....explain why....

I know I'm likely in the extreme minority, or quite possibly alone in this opinion, but if this turns out to be only real minor leaguers in the game and doesn't include additional roster slots, I'm going to be sad.

Well tbf, real minor leaguers doesn't really gain us anything other than being able to start straight away instead of after maybe a month, due to the insane work from the OSFM guys. The extra slots on the other hand is a plus no matter which way you look at it. (both would be a nice combo though!)

Yeah I'm determined to keep trucking with my 2014 carry over. I've also discovered that I tend to connect a lot better with fictional players, while also getting less upset when results don't meet my expectations, so if I ever were to start a new franchise, it's highly likely I'd go fictional. It's easier to handle these players without any real life bias.

I'd be happy for the sake of other Show lovers, but real minor league players is next to useless for me personally.

A topic that hasnt be disscussed with this yet is how having real minors would be a benefit for the March to october mode. It seems like they are pushing that alittle more and attempting to improve it and having teams trade for real prospects or do real call ups will just improve the mode.

I would like March to October to be more customizable. Use custom rosters and sliders. If this is the direction they want franchise to go needs to be an experience that has all the franchise options in a condensed format.

Honestly I hope it is more roster slots, like full 25 man for A than full minor leaguers. I don't even care if A is playable or not, give us full A and then 15 extra slots labeled rookie ball.

This would definitely get me back buying The Show yearly if true. If they would just add more MILB roster spots, even if they didnt add more playable MILB teams, would get me to come back to The Show, instead of going the OOTP route. I miss playing MLBTS, but Franchise had gotten to stale to me, and I felt not enough time was being put into that side of the game, so I quit buying. But if some of the things, Im hearing ends up being true, I will definitely be buying it on day 1.
