What will this mean for guys like Yoshi Tsutsugo? He will be starting for the Rays this year but has never had an MLB AB? Will he be in the game at launch?

He probably would be either way like they did with Ohtani. I believe they have a special deal regarding NPB players who come over.

I just pray we can edit the minor leaguers. Having Cristian Pache and Drew Waters look the part - and both had insane CAPs from Cujo btw - is way more important than a mediocre scan and not being able to change it. That’s why people would go out of their way for dudes like José Abreu who looked terrible.

In a perfect world, we could edit everything and gain their audio.

That is what I thought, but MiLB is also adopting the 26 man roster rule.

Just looked at video. There were 9 infielders on the roster. 5 outfielders and 12 pitchers. So it appears minors has 26 man rosters.

Judging by all these videos it appears you can edit the players that are CAPS. Pretty sure ones that have scans you're SOL.

What will be interesting to see is say we carry over our 19 file edited all of players, faces etc on 19 like most of us have already done spending many hours fine tuning them.

Then we carry over to 20 since SDS will already have some of these already on the game and if they went as far as assigning audio IDS and face IDS to any of them with it reset the ones we carry over?

This happen with some faces from 18 to 19 but I did discover a work around that kept the original created face I had on 18 without it changing going to 19.

There were some that even got the glitch face going from 18 to 19 withing a carry over franchise, but the work around prevented it from happening.

Yeah, great find TBarnes. I am actually pretty confident there will be roster expansion now, which should make country boy pretty happy. I mean full minors doesn’t really work if you can’t dump guys in A ball. My strategy for last years of franchise was to dump those high potential/low attribute prospects in single A. There is no production based progression in single A (since the games are not played), so guys would progress more slowly than if they were double A or triple A with no regression penalty whatsoever. That means those A potebtial 58 overal guys were double A ready with int a couple of years. Without single A those type of prospects are dead in the water so to speak because they can’t perform at double A in franchise and never improve.

I just have a sneaky feeling guys like country boy are going to be pleasantly surprised this year. Maybe not 25 single A spots, but I think we’ll at least get to keep the 15 we have plus the 26 man rule making a full roster 93 worse case scenario. I am optimistic!

Edit: sorry if this post makes no sense. Had a few and am pretty much over excited for Thursday and rambling at this point lol

What you would half to do is say on 18 to 19 to avoid a players face from changing first go on 18 and edit his audio file to first name to Big Daddy , last name audio file to BoBo save that player then do your normal transfer from18 to 19 of the player you saved etc and he will keep the original face he had.

Once your on 19 just edit the audio names back to what they were or if his names in the database u can add it then be sure to save etc. and do the normal export like u normally would.

If there's issues going from 19 to 20 with some players getting locked faces, the glitch face or there face completely changes from what it was on 19 this work around should work still.

This is cool but a little discouraging. It seems they still have not fixed the roster logic that has a team carry only 12 pitchers. All teams last year had a base constitution of 13 pitchers.

the BP management of the CPU has always been awful I think it would even be more awful with 13 pitchers..

ok so if we have 26 man rosters for MLB and AAA and AA I am going to take a stab here and say we will still have 90 man rosters. but 7 players will be A and just sit there wasted as spare slots. instead of the 10 we always have. I will be surprised if they extend it to 100 roster slots on the last year of the PS4.

I mean how would year to year saves work if this was the case? it would just generic 10 fake players?

Man, when early information broke and they mentioned customization across the board and then the stream schedule showed Full Minor League Rosters, I immediately let myself think that two things I've been wanting for years would be coming to fruition with expanded roster slots and the ability to customize managers/coaches.

Both may very well be in the game, but honestly if its just re-branding/re-locating/creating a logo for an existing team and real minor league players, I'm going to be bummed.

I know its my own doing, cart before the horse, but damn, I let myself get excited.

Real minor leaguers confirmed by SDS. I had a feeling it was ridin that had a part in this process probably why the players look good.
