Perfect perfect DOES NOT GUARANTEE A HIT

It is essentially the hardest that a batter can hit the ball.

Also, if on the right difficulty level, the expectation is that perfect-perfect will happen on 2% of your swings.

so now a shoutout to full minor league rosters...

I'm glad that they didn't tweak hitting very much. It's great that they realized that most of the problems stemmed from fielding problems moreso than the hitting engine and focused their changes there.

Over 6 million swings in the Beta, only 2% registered as Perfect perfect swings which resulted in a hit 83% of the time. For those who don't want to do the math that is 120,000 meaning that 5,880,000 times resulted in non-perfect perfect swings.

Also saw the coke bottle in San Francisco and the Cars sign along the left field fence are both accurate to real life now as well at Oracle Park!

They didn’t mention anything about perfect using directional hitting. Will this only impact zone hitters?
