MLB 20: Possible Stadiums to Choose for your Rebranding

I ran across this website that helps those who don’t have MLB 19 get an idea of the different stadiums that will be available. Can’t guarantee it’s 100% accurate but seems to be pretty dang solid. Great resource to start making ideas for your rebrands.

Includes the MLB stadiums, Minor League, Classic, Spring Training. Has dimensions and a photo showing the parks (The photos seem to be from 2017).

What stadiums are you planning to use for your rebrands?

I hope that there's a stand alone stadium creation tool. That way ppl could build stadiums and put them up in the vault, allowing every user to check out what they've created.

Because baseball is unique in that one aspect, stadium dimensions and the fact that outside of 90 ft between the bases and 60 ft 6 in from pitching rubber to home being standard, everything else is up for grabs.

Recreating old Tigers stadium, or real Yankee Stadium and not that ostentatious thing now referred to as Yankee Stadium... Would be a real treat.

And if you can create background objects, like the yellow bridge outside of Pittsburgh (one of my favorite parks) or being able to create things like "The Bat" that was outside of Yankee Stadium, where ppl would meet up at to go in together would be outstanding.

I'm excited for the possibilities. Hopefully like I said, they will make the creation tool available outside of franchise mode... The Shows community is one of the best, and giving that tool to us would be a boon for the game.

seating capacity-wise, Green Valley Stadium is the one that makes the most sense, out of the minor league parks.

I guess you can move the Expos to the Metrodome and do your best not to look at all the Twins retired numbers.

or you can get over the fact less than 20,000 fans will be at Main St. Field which looks like it could be anywhere in the world.

Thanks for the link. I spent a couple hours yesterday scrolling thru each milb ballpark on my ps4.

The two which seem to have neutral dimensions and not a lot of foul territory are Riverboat and Capitol.

Somewhat pitcher friendly due to dimensions and/or large foul territory are Center City, Majextic Greens, Highland, All American and Bayfront.

I'll try out those for the next month in my carry over franchise.

Not to cut you off, but that isn't in the game this year.

That is an awesome resource. Unfortunately, it illustrates how absurd it would be for any major league team to play in a stadium the size of the minor league stadiums.

Deciding which stadium is going to be most immersive may the hardest choice for me this year.

I like the classic stadiums but I miss the jumbotrons and bells and whistles of the current MLB stadiums.

Among the minor league parks I'm leaning towards Statesman Park or Bayfront Park.

Yeah it’s literally 50%+ less capacity. Besides Aesthetics, will this hurt your team in any way? If it does, that’s a big big problem. If it doesn’t, I’ll live.

It's also why promotion and relegation will NEVER happen in Major League Baseball.

The seating capacity differences alone would send relegated teams into insolvency overnight.

That's what I feared. I guess I won't be doing a "relocation" any time soon. Playing in another MLB team's stadium would totally kill the experience for me. Thankfully my Braves franchise will be taking up most of my time.

It's like they added half a feature this year.

The developers are getting cheaper than ever... like how much could the new perfect-perfect system have cost them to put in the game? First-step fielding? Even rebranding is just being imported from Diamond Dynasty.

I swear they just watch baseball all summer and play the old game until there's 3 weeks left before they have to start marketing the new game.
