Worth pointing out that even if it is possible to get the CPU in the league by some means, there are no CPU sliders. They went through the whole list, which means the CPU would only be on the base difficulties (whichever ones the league setting is on, I assume).

The ones that go for both user and CPU normally (errors, for example), could apply to both, though.

But could you not select 30 teams and they would be CPU if not taken before you start

Curious on Nemesis thoughts. Is this something the season mode fan can use to fill the gap left when season mode was taken out?

Looks like ratings are adjusted based on live roster.

Doesn't look like a way for new players to be added. Rookies etc....unless they are added in 40 man. Not sure how that works.

Wasn't clear if you can trade with cpu.

Noticed there is an untouchable list on trade block. Wonder how that was adjusted for offline when we see MTO next week?

Yeah my understanding watching the stream is that it has to start with USER players and then the commissioner can kick players out and replace them with CPU teams.

Would be better to be allowed to start with 30 teams and mix and match between USER and CPU, but at least there is a workaround.

I guess if you have you and 3 friends and want to play a 30 team league, you could each 4 pick a team and then invite 26 randoms and immediately kick them out the of league.

This would not be a season mode replacement. You really cannot create that type of experience with this setup.

my PSN ID is "goodolboy" so feel free to use me as a sacrificial USER to be booted from a league in order to get a CPU team into the league.

Sorry to hear that. I was really hoping this would fill that "hole" for season mode guys.

Lol, it would be a job getting everyone to accept an invite to then get kicked out.

This is an extremely important aspect because if the CPU isn't a functioning user (making trades) then it really becomes a moot point about having a league with USER and CPU controlled teams.

From the tone of the stream, it is clearly the intent that this mode be for actual USER controlled teams and not CPU.

To me they look strictly as a place holder with no outside game interaction.

They were not thorough with the questions.

I wish the mode was called "Online Custom Leagues." Then there would be no confusion. Seems like the CPU can only be implemented if a user leaves the league. Oh well.
