I want to Discipline the Astros in my Franchise

Alrighty then. So we have as a means of discipline for the rules-challenged:
    1) suspension/injured list.
    2) disperse top prospects to other teams in exchange for other teams worst minor leaguers i.e. low potential/overall.
    3) edit salary (levy fines) to the point of low morale.

    these are new alternatives:
    4) edit vision and discipline attributes to zero for 1 season. this is the opposite of 'knowing' what pitch is coming.
    5) rebrand Houston to new city. New Orleans would be good, I dont think they will have a minor league team in the Show in 20? as for stadium, put 'em in 1 of the minor league parks.
    6) release all current players from the 2017 season, edit potential attribute to zero, replace with players from the 2020 default free agent list. this will amount to giving them the Shoeless Joe treatment with a 'lifetime suspension'. say it ain't so Jose.

      Thanks Kehlis and Caulfield.

I will add again for those that have asked. Yes I have punished Boston and New York in my franchise as well. I have taken draft picks from both for the past two seasons. This idea of "injuring" to replicate suspensions is just a new idea to me and thought I would get some input from the OS community. You may think its stupid and pointless, but its my game and something I wanted to experiment with.

I am by no means actually calling for real people to be injured in any way, nor would I condone that. But it does bother me that players involved receive no adverse consequences to cheating. This means everyone not just Houston. Its just they are the hot topic right now and I don't think they are handling this PR nightmare very well. Thats the limit of my real world discussion on this.

Emphasis on "its my game". The Show has been our virtual world of baseball. We put ourselves into the game (even the devs and youtubers show up in the game every year). We put dead men on our teams (lol). We manage, play franchise into the year 2040, etc. If people want to delete them completely from the game....have at it. It's your game. Have fun with it. Emphasis on "fun". People should know the difference by now. Enjoy. I'm going to.

maybe fans of cheating should have their own thread: ‘‘I Want To Reward The 2017 Ch*mpi*ns’’.

step 1 - edit all players potential to 99
step 2 - edit all players vision & discipline to 99
step 3 - screw the Yankees & Dodgers out of an honest series yet again.
step 4 - deny you did anything wrong in steps 1-3
step 5 - rinse, repeat, deny, deny, deny

We can and we will. Other's have had no problem separating the two.

And if it for some reason continues to happen by one person, banning isn't out of the question.

Oh cool. I’ve been civil. Have a good night. I didn’t know others were allowed to have an opinion but I couldn’t and I couldn’t express it. Carry on.

if it's an opinion about penalising Houston in the Show, we'd love to hear it, even if it's that you decided in your Show you decided to let sleeping dogs lie. I dont always address controversy in the Show with the Braves even though I will be able in 20: I could rebrand Atlanta the Peaches (or Crackers, but that would just open another big old can of dead worms). also, there is plenty of opinions going around over in the MLB Off-Topic thread. good a place as any to chime in on the Astro's innocence.

got one more suggestion for Bullit, from the Devil's Advocate side, in the name of fair and balanced. mete out no other punishment thand sending Mike Fiers back to the Astros and 'pretend' he's handling Houston's disciplining 'in-house', and when they are crowned 2020 World Champions you just accept it

                nah, again, torch them bastards

How would one go about removing their draft picks? That's what I would do on top of sitting their stars.

You can't remove them. Just lower the potential by 30 and they become useless to them.
